Vanguard sounds dated to my ears... maybe it is beacause I spent much of my early days on this thing... It is good but pretty limited and it sounds way too digital. It can be useful but It can also make you lazy and give ur tracks the so called "vanguard sound" which I personally dislike.
It taught me much until I uninstalled and began using synths for grown up men lol... jk but albino, predator, sylenth, z3ta even discodsp would rape the vanguard any day.
Still nice for supersaws, electro bass, digital 303 and the David Guetta wannabe sound hehe |
