hello everybody! I am new to this forum and to sound production (but not to music creation in overall) and decided to begin studying sound sculpting from learning some exisiting sounds. That's why I'm looking for isratrance vanguard bank. I've spent already about several hours trying to find it using google and this cool forum but in vain... The only link I found on KVRaudio.com and futureproducers.com is this one: http://www.megaupload.com/?d=K7V57BPR
As you know megaupload owner is imprisoned now and megaupload.com domain has been seized...
Any suggestions where can I find this vanguard bank?

thanks for uploading. i still like to play around with vangaurd now and then and i will have a listen to these presets some time even tho dj chichke thinks its old and thin. cheers

I say the tool little matters (as long as it doesn't get in your way). It's what you do with it that counts  If you give the best guitarist the worst guitar, I'm sure he'll blow your mind; give the best guitar to a mediocre player and it will sound mediocre.
For me it's Abletons' Operator for the win! But Vanguard is plain simple and effective (and has two more LFO's than operator :S )
But please forget about the presets.. they've been used and abused over and over again (and presets can really get in the way of being a good sound wizard). Learn each knob, what they do and how they work together (and there's not that many in Vanguard). As a good recipe in sound synthesis, use
-the oscillators to get a tone,
-filters to shape the tone,
-the LFO's and envelopes (ADSR) to give the tone and shaping some movement and dynamics
-(vanguard) effects to give the tone a room and a sense of space (- other effects can do other things)
-and play with the instrument. Wicked tunes have been made over and over again with a single note, simple rhythm, filter sweep and a delay.
