Hi, I was wondering if there was a way to run vanguard in mono for bassy stuff etc. Im using it through Logic 7 and it only comes out in stereo.

Just thought of something while typing this. Is it a good idea to send the ins.track to a bus with the mono function on? would that solve it? I guess why not?

Thanks in advance

i would think that whatever sound you put is in mono unless you change it to stereo.
are you sure you're getting stereo? and if so, are you sure you dont have some stereo function on?
i dont use logic, so i can't help you here, but if you didnt switch anything, i would think it's in mono already           -Soultech/Stampgevaar Records, Parampara Recs

Yes sending it through a mono Bus will deffinately make it mono.

OR

You can also put a DirMixer plugin on the stereo channel and go from there.           Crackling universes dive into their own neverending crackle...

You can also record it in stereo and bounce it to mono, you will have to attenuate by 3 db before doing that, otherwise the intensity of the signal doubles which could lead to distortion, depending on what headroom you have...           Upavas - Here And Now (Sangoma Rec.) new EP out Oct.29th, get it here:

I think the best way is to get a very dry signal out of vanguard, setting voices to 1, put reverb & delay off and set the spread & fat buttons to zero...this should leave you with a mono signal, then simply add a direction mixer as first insert and set it to 0 in L/R mode           https://soundcloud.com/hazak

yeah I also think so...but like I said, to be 100% sure I would set a direction mixer after it           https://soundcloud.com/hazak

There is a little number of plugins that have a mono option in Logic.           Crackling universes dive into their own neverending crackle...
