i dont think theres gonna be vanguard 2 soon (althought it would be really cool) the be teased info is about some kind of sampler with built in effects and stuff.
looks great  reFx synths and software is always great, love their sound! |

I think u confused "Revolution soundbank 2 For Vanguard" for vanguard 2 but its the 2nd version of this vanguard soundbank 
i wouldnt mind a vanguard 2 to honest

I doubt it's anything exceptional. There are already a lot of very good softsynths on the market. And besides it's a ROMpler so it's not likely to be as flexible as real synths.
