"(val)Liam's debut album "Daydreamer" being released on Celestial Dragon Records is a musical journal written by Liam Skogland documenting moments when the mind drifts off and becomes free, yielding to vivid imagination. The result are ten tracks covering a wide variety of influences, tones and moods that draw the listener out of the everyday mundane into a space where they create realities of their own."
The scheduled release date is April 10 of 2009.
This is a beautiful album very reminiscent of ishq - orchid yet very much unto its own style bringing in both idm and progressive elements.
Once again Quasga has done some beautiful artwork:

Cool, the samples sound good.
I must say that I do like Celestial Dragon Records. The output is of a high quality and is quite diverse in styles. I have all of the releases except Portal of Perceptions and the Shape Your Shade EP.
I’m looking forward to hearing this and Vampire Sunrise.
Cheers.

Liam is a brilliant artist and this artist album is well deserved. I think all of you that enjoyed his tracks on intermittent memories and vampire sunrise will just fall in love with this album. In my mind Liam is really stepping up with a new sound that blends chill organic with mech glitch. Definitely check this out. 10/10

I remember logging in today and seeing the banners, very cool... very surreal
Anyways, I hope you all dig this work. I really wanted to cover an open range of styles, sounds, and moods for this album to give it spice and variety. A lot of this album was written during a time when I was working at a job I really hated, which could be described as a "purgatory on earth", and during my time getting post-secondary education, which carried with it a lot of stress (very much going from one extreme to the next). But rather than making a heavy album reflecting that boredom and stress, I wanted to make an album that reflected the few moments I had to drift off and let my mind escape that everyday mundane. So my hope is that people can listen to this and be able to let their mind drift and escape the mundane much the same way I would.
Thanks again to everyone that made this music possible and to everyone at Celestial whose faith and effort took this music outside of my apartment
Hope you enjoy |

This album is something beyond the words.
Reminds me of Ishq and even my favorite Secede in some parts. I hope, we will enjoy more music
from this artist in the future. Thank you for this beautiful music Liam. |
