In 2006, electronic music is constantly evolving and changing, forcing the listener´s taste to progress with it. Tribal Vision has always been about capturing this vision, moving with the new styles, trends and fusions of genres, ensuring each release is tailored to the contemporary listener’s ear. Trash Art is a fine collection of the fresh sound of progressive music as interpreted by Tribal Vision Record’s DJ Slater.
Fusing the sounds of electrohouse, progressive house and trance, the Tribal Vision sound is becoming ever-more defined with every release - no more so than with Trash Art. Drawing on tunes from Tribal Vision’s strong artist roster including Tegma, Fitalic, Duca and Roman Rai, Trash Art also features world renowned masters Antix, Jaia & Silicon Sound (aka Even11), Nick Hogendoorn & Eelke Klein, Phony Orphants, Thomas Penton and Flowjob - guaranteeing it a must for the disconcerting listener and DJ alike.
Mastered by Charles Michaud (aka Triptych / Solead) and featuring the usual fat cover-booklet by Tribal Vision’s resident visual artist Quapim, Trash Art is the complete package you have come to expect from Tribal Vision.
This winter, DJ Slater & Tribal Vision Records present their last compilation in what has been a strong showing in 2006 - this is Trash Art.

Superb tracklist. Heard two of the tracks: "Voices Of Istanbul" is one of the tranciest tracks by Fitalic in a while, and the Thomas Penton remix of Fitalic is really great electro-prog-house.
As for the rest of the tracklist - looks absolutely stunning. Especially looking forward to the Antix remix for Flowjob, the new track with Eelke Kleijn (one of my absolute favourite producers this year) and the french Even11 collaboration. I heard their liveset at Sonica this year, and it had a really kicking electro-sound BUT with very strong trance influences. I'm expecting something along the lines of the Silicon Sound remix for Side-A.
Can't wait DJ pr0fane (Iboga Records) | Multiphase
