At the end of March 2007, for one whole week the world of progressive electronic music and experimental media arts revolved around the city of Mannheim, Germany. Besides the flagship event, the infamous TDK Time Warp where club culture's leading stars and artists appeared and performed, visitors were given intimate insights into a whole host of exciting and innovative events at various venues around town. The essence of this unique festival - music that is forward thinking, stimulating and, last but not least, atmospherically dense - is perfectly captured on the current compilation CD. As usual, the collection of works and mix of tracks on this, the seventh TDK Time Warp Compilation, have been put in safe hands: on two CD's Loco Dice doesn't just show what he can do, but also how rich and diverse contemporary electronic dance music can be.
