Hey all..
Well this is one album I came across quite a while back on psyshopÖ..and it really fascinated me. especially the cover workÖand it had good names in the line up so I figured this would be a real good albumÖand after hearing and liking the album thought I would post a review about this one..
Well my views are ìMYî views which may not pertain to what other people may think and this is just an honest review of what I think if anyone out here thinks any different he/she is most welcome to post their own reviewÖ.
Well here goes ÖÖ..
1)Vatos Locos- Chalorize This ,
Well really like the usual style that I have heard of these guys is pretty impressive to say the least. They have pretty good stuff coming out occasionally..not one of my favourite artists but surely does bring in bell of recognition..this track starts of pretty decentlyÖand somewhat monotonousÖat around the 5th minute it sounds a ready to burst into a well needed surprise in the track..but thatís not easy to come by is itÖit again shifts gear back into the monotonyÖ.well nuthin really special about this track it couldíve been made better in my opinionÖit lack that special somethingÖ.its kinda boring ..(5/10)
2) D-TEK Vs Mexican Trance Mafia- Apple Talk
Well some good Mexican stuff we are talking bout hereÖsome good Mexican artists bringin it togetherÖI really liked D-TEKS music coz have heard some stunners by this guyÖlos dorados for exampleÖ..well In this track it starts out as a very simple moving trackÖbut seems to progress by the 2nd minute and some good sounds added from there on make it very listenableÖgives a good break in the tempo at about the 4th minute and some good rather AWESOME noises from there on and then the track is back into motion MEXICAN style full on blaring speed at your disposalÖnice twisty turny sounds from there on and slows down during the endÖa good track in my opinionÖ(8/10)
3)The Unstables (Goblin Vs Pixel)- The Clone
This track starts of with a sample of Al PacinoÖreally cool sample in my opinion and well used to begin withÖthen the track takes a turn into providing good sounds n decent beats..good work around the middle of 2 minsÖnice stretchingÖthe track seems to take a shift around the 3 minute mark and comes back into action within the 4th minuteÖnice sounds we got hereÖsomewhat a bird like chirping noises play in the background occasionally providing a good feel..the tempo slows down and feels like parts were put together without completely being joined as it sounds cut and back into flow donít really appreciate that part but then it all get collected by the 5th minuteÖand goes on pretty well from there on..a pretty decent track in my booksÖ.(7/10)
4) Gataka - Music Will Set You Free
Definitely my pick from the album..loved this track the first time I heard itÖthere is soemthin in this track which is mysteriously amazing to say the leastÖ.well it starts of in literal senses about the 50th secondÖand has great noises going on right through the trackÖgood blasting feel to the trackÖtakes a dip in the middle of the 2nd minute but comes right back into forceÖa track that can keep you moving all throughÖ(as the track is aptly names  ) after an array of samplesÖit gives a feeling as tho it is gonna come on all guns blazing after itÖand it surely does deliverÖgood work done in the track from the 4th minute on..got some guitar like sounding noises in the background..which add to the track most definitelyÖa very nice track in my opinion (9/10)
5) Logic Bomb ñ Hand On The Glock
A good tune to begin the track withÖafter that the track starts of rather ordinarilyÖand goes on for a while without changing much of the flow..and then slightly changes direction by the 3rd minute or soÖwithout too much of an actual changeÖthe track doesnít bring out anything suprising..all through but there is something lacking in the track for sure and the flow of the track is kinda weirdÖnot to my likingÖbut the same tune as the intro is played towards the end and it sounds nice prolly coz the track is bout to end Önuthin great in this track a let down I guess by logic bombÖ.(5/10)
6) Deedrah ñ Caipirihna Overdose Session
This track starts of as a normal track but takes a very very interesting diversion by the 30th second with some good sounds and a rise of tempoÖthe track sure sounds as very promising but loses the plot by the 3rd minuteÖand there is a series up hill and downhill from there on no proper flowÖtill about the 6th minute there is a welcome change of style with good beats from then on..still nuthin outright great but decent for home listening..a jes about ok trackÖ.(6/10)
7) Rinkadink- The Ultimate Soyokaze
Well am not too sure if this a new track coz I had heard about this track on the forum itself a while back..quite a while backÖ.and its by an artist who really is capable of giving some REAL good musicÖthis particular track has some sort of style which is great on its ownÖgood combination of sounds from the start itself..from the second minute on it takes a different course only to come back punchierÖgood twist in the trackÖand good tempo swing around the 4th minute..then for a while it sounds very ordinary with occasional turn..a good sounding trackÖbut kinda mixed up towards the end..and again expected more from this track and it failed to deliverÖ.(7/10)
8) Psysex & Rocky- Japanese Awa
Damm right the track names towards the end are weirdÖhahaÖbut this track actually has the sample ìJapanese Awaî in it played at quick intervals which sounds good when you hear it for the first time but it get a lil overdoneÖin terms of the vocalsÖthen there is a very nice sample at about the 5th minute ìyou should learn Japanese Very easyî a well placed sample will rock if played in japan for sure but then again this time around too the sample work is overdone and the number of repetitions there are for that sample are just far too many which somewhat kills the track..nice tempo of the track towards the end and then again the flow is killedÖnot a great track in my opinionÖ(6/10)
9) Pop Stream- Fuego En La Rumba
One more weird looking name but am sure it means something but am not too familiar with itÖwell as the track goes it starts as a very housy feel trackÖbut in the due course of time alters and takes a different turn..got some really good sound played at the middle of the first minuteÖand then there is a latin sample( I guess) at the dawn of the 3rd minute..and some very good tunes going on..the track transforms itself into a better track with some good latin style mixed into itÖit really adds to the track this one will rock the south american coastlines for a while to come for sureÖ.i somehow get a feel there should have been a lil more done onto the track as it gets u into a very good mood during the latin part ..probably a faster tempo with more velocity could have made major changes to the overall feel of the trackÖ.the last minute and a half is pretty good and gets back to the feel like it was during the startÖÖmakes for some very good listeningÖ (7.5/10)
Well on the whole this certainly is not an extra ordinary albumÖsure its got some good names in the line-up but names are not the main thing for an album..i do get the feel that most of the tracks could have been worked on a little more and been made a little more special ..then we would probably have a very very good compilation..maybe the remixes of tracks from this album can be big hitsÖbut on the whole I wouldnít say this is a must have..if u already possess part 1 and 2 then what the hell might as well pick this up adds to the collection but otherwise itís an averaged out albumÖa decent 7 for this on the whole

Strong compilation on the whole. Gataka track very nice and surprising. Pop Stream keeps on brinking interesting moods. The unstables and psysex vs. rocky tracks are also worth noting- they are great for the dancefloor with really cool rise. Logic bomb was not bad at all, but could do a bit better. Finally, too bad the Rinkadink track was already released a while back cuz he does make some great stuff- always solid and intelligent.

I think it's the best full on compilation this year. All tracks are high quality. I give it 8/10. Nice review even though I dont agree on how you grade the tracks:) |

hey thanx for the kind words about the review...well i rate it according to the things i like or dont like in the track...and average all the likes and the dislikes and come up with a final score for the tracks...

I think its good full on compil. Nice fresh sounds. Vatos Locos made good track a specialy at the end , I like it beter then their stuff before. Its nice track to open this comp.
D-tek and M.T.M. came up with nice track for the dance floor, energetic beats and melodies, its changin nicely in the middle, good stuff.
Goblin vs Pixel very nice track , crazy sample in begining, nice bass and groovy beats also good for the dance floor.
Gataka made a realy nice track with gitar(Im not a realy like gitar in trance, but this is something diferent) nice drums work. I like the sample a lot its a popular sample Im not shure from where(...everythin a round became unreal as it in a dream...)
Logic Bomb sounds like their regular stuff Groovy with fast beats and melodis (the fastest track on this comp.-146 bpm), I like the end of the track.
Deedrah as always bringin a fesh sound , deep powerfull atmosfers, energy rising trance, nice one.
Rinkadink this track was made in 2001 and this is 2004 Rmx. IMO one of the best tracks on this comp. Rinkadink has the most original sound that keeps getting better and better. Here we got powerfull beats mixed in crazyest way with buteful melodis very uplifting, its exploding at the end.
Psysex & Rocky (with aditional mix of Domestic) This one starts slow and cripy but getting to the point, nice bass. then we got japanese lesson(sample from KillBill vol.1) nice and tripy sample. Right after its opens up in to butefull dreamy sound pure trance , but this part not going to long and goes back were it started. Anyway nice track.
Pop Stream is a good way to close this compilation. Groovy uplifting beats with some spanish gitar mixed in a nice way. Good morning trance.
IMO Maia Rec. made very nice compilation at least it dosen't sound boring like most of full on today. |

hey nice copilation released by maia records mexico..
its really nice to seee more newest things by logic bomb and deedrah they are one of my favorites artist
and for sure all the tracks are good for me i like all the cd
vatos locos i really hope than they change alittle their style for good
d tek vs mtm .. hv to much dynamic sounds
the unestables track .. i like alot the sample of kill bill is really fun arigatooo???

Well very solid compilation with nice artist on it. Good one from maia crew. I think this comp have tunes by all kinds of taste, but 4 me the best tracks are unstables, gataka, deedrah, rinkadink and of course pop stream. NIce one!!! |
