I don't see any problem with it. Decoy has two albums released, Solano and Duca have just released their albums, Odiseo and Visua are definitively one of the best producers of progressive trance in Mexico so it's a list of very respected producers, worlwide.

Maybe the rest are unknown artists but Plusquam has always kept the standard, let's see, who knew of Cafu before of his album? Nobody... also the Kara Mehl and La Baaz compilation looks awesome!!!! but I'm agree with you a bit agree something really strange happens with their digital catalogue..

Plusquam has a new owner, that's why. It's now owned by Thomas from Psytropic Records.

I also think the new Plusquam has a noticeably lower quality than earlier, and they seem to spit out releases lately. There have been a few hidden gems on some of their releases though, so a bit of credit for that

As for this release Decoy, Visua and Progenitor has made some good tracks in the past. I think I'll wait for the digital download release, and see if there's something for my taste           DJ pr0fane (Iboga Records) | Multiphase

That's why then, well the cover art really sucks big time, their digital catalogue is sucking too (Not all but the most), a lot of low quality tracks over there, Plastic Sounds, Solaris Vibe, Cabal, Mummerah, Telepatica, Bugparty, Basicnova, Zolarium to name a few and also a few artists that just didn't fit at all with the Plusquam atmosphere, such as Alchemix, Solar System, Fromen Ory among others, but it's a new owner so let see his new path and as pr0fane said, Visua, Decoy and for sure Odiseo has made some good tracks in the past so looking forward to this ones

@ Steve00:

thanks for your honest answer. I really appreciate it but how do you define "low quality". I think it is also good to represent NEW Talents and there are many people out there who especially liked those tracks no matter what "quality" they have. Furthermore the artists you named are all together in ONE digital compilation release called "NEW BREED" which shows that this was a compilation especially for new (BREED) upcoming artists...
About Alchemix, Meander and more forward grooving artists: we think, it is good to signed those artists even if they are not the "old fashion proggy" sound which contains always the same patterns and stories. The psytrance music evolved within the last past years and so Plusquam will and thats why also some faster tunes will rock on the future releases.
But as you can see in the CD physical compilations we still stay straight to the "good quality" and names you know.
I hope this was some kind of overview and you like the new stuff we are cooking :-D

Kind regards and all the best to everybody in 2009 !

This is what is all about in a forum, give a straight feedback and as I mentioned it's a new owner so I guess we should wait to see what ideas do you have as far as for me, the quality, means pretty much everything for a label, I'm not only refer to the quality in the productions also for the ideas in a song and for me, those I have named didn't have either of those basic elements. Plastic Fields, Zolarium, Solaris Vibes has got released their own EP so is not only about the "Breed" compilation, about the groovy artists as Alchemix, sounds good for me, let's see the development of, meanwhile I will make sure to enjoy this compilation, keep bringing nice music from Decoy, Visua, Odiseo and Duca and will do my best to support it!

Best wishes for Plusquam as well
