Release Notes
*************

After a long break in their release schedule, German progressive trance label Plastik Park is back under new owners Tobias Bayer & D-Nox with the first strike from their “Reloaded” series. This edition is a collection of previously vinyl-only dancefloor hits from top German labels Mutekki, Electribe and Sprout. Carefully selected to inflict maximum dancefloor damage, this CD is an essential tool for any DJs that have missed the vinyl releases or want them all on one explosive piece of plastik.

1- Marc O’Tool “Passenger 2.0” – Originally released in 2000 under his Ballroom moniker, “Passenger” has become a classic tune in progressive circles and beyond. With support from nearly every top DJ in the business, it was licensed for countless compilations and was re-released on Quad Communications and Hooj Choons’ sub-label Lost Language. For version 2.0, Marco has dressed up “Passenger” in a more up-to-date and forward-thinking outfit, without losing the unique feeling of the original.

2- Capture “Mars Attack * Groove Express Remix” – Capture is a new talent from the West German techno scene. His debut “Mars Attack” is an absolutely unique and extravagant tune, with a feel reminiscent of Timo Maas’ “Help Me” and some of the more dirty variety of American house. This remix is a collaboration between Achim Lüthje (of Prisoners of the Sun fame) and Christian Wedekind (aka D-Nox), otherwise known as Groove Express. Tight, minimal percussion, a slow grooving bassline and spooky FX combine in the remix to provide a perfect tune for darker moments on the floor.

3- Prawler “Another Darkroom” – Again´n´again, this fantastic duo (Electribe’s golden child Peter Jürgens and Superstar Rec.’s global player Oliver Moldan) just do everything to stay on the tip of the tongue. “Another Darkroom” delivers exactly what you expect from Prawler - dark drums, a deep bassline and atmospheric strings for the intense moments of the night. With this release, Prawler again proves that they are a futuristic house act par excellence!

4- Groove Express “Parasol”. Behind the project are DJ D-Nox and Achim Lüthje from P.O.T.S. The sound of Groove Express is between deephouse and slike techtrance. “Parasol” is a wonderfull track made for girls and the perfect end of a long and rigorous partynight. The look of the track appears warm and covered in harmonies. The groove of the track is a tide percussion groove and a dubby bassline.

5- Fitalic “Thought” – With their latest release “Thought”, the Dutch duo of Robin Fitter & Jeroen Wunderlich have composed a massive dancefloor monster. Outstanding production quality combines with tight, well-programmed percussion and a warm, deep throbbing bassline to create a brooding melodic masterpiece which will have your hair standing on end.

6- Export Audio “Stay * Chili For Chicken Mix” – Export Audio are Frank Beckers and Leif Hatfield from Essen, Germany, two fast-rising stars in the German progressive scene. After their first single as Export Audio (“Girl FX/The Move” on Transient) in 2002 rocked dancefloors worldwide, the follow-up effort has been eagerly awaited. “Stay * Chili For Chicken Mix” is an uplifting and sexy beast of a track, finely riding the line between breaks and chunky progressive. With huge crossover appeal, a massive retro bassline, and sultry vocals from Leif himself, this track is sure to be a huge summer hit.

7- Oliver Klein & Peter Jürgens “Once You Get Dubbed” – Top producer Oliver Klein (known for his conquering singles “Rheinkraft” & “Timeloop”), and Electribe star Peter Jürgens (Prawler) team up to raise some hell and create some dirty dancefloor magic in the studio. The product, an unstoppable tension loaded tribal monster entitled “Once You Get Dubbed”, will grab you, move you, and not let you loose until the last drum has beat.

8- Martin H “Anja” Martin H is Swedish! That single fact should catch your attention for a moment... on the one hand because Sweden is currently one of the fastest-growing markets for quality underground music, and on the other hand because there are countless up & coming Swedish producers who seem to have a golden hand in making their productions hit the dancefloor like a rock! Martin H has proven he is at the head of the pack his latest tribal-tek offering “Anja”. Believe us; progressive cannot be sexier than this..
