Hi All !

The promising label - Mushy Records - is release second release. "Monkey Mission" is compiled by Itay Amaoyal aka In-Panic and include 10 tracks of mostly unfamiliar names together with a rising talents like Bubble project.

1. In-Panic – Access denied
Itay him self he is the one who open this comp. A powerfull track with tons of energy...full on for the dance floor. Itay's has something hallucinate in his materials, he know how to put all those effects together perfectly. After 2 and half minutes, there is a rising electronic-guitar which take the track to higher levels of power. It is definitely an intersting track with many developments...my favorite part here is the amazing melody on 05:10 with so much emotions and feelings and few seconds later the guitar come back and the madness is take control...beautifull !!

2. Borderline - After Shock
This time Itay unite forces with Amir Gelman under the name "Borderline". Their track is keep the "noisy" direction of the last track but with more style . A groovy baseline together with very fat kick and high level of sound, turn this track to be proffsional and mature. Here also, always something happen - many melodies and up & downs. Again, I must pay your attention to the brilliant melody on 04:30...simply an art !

3. In-Panic vs Bubble - Imitation of life
Thw two leading projects of Mushy Records teamed together on the 3rd track of this special compilation. The unique touch of Bubble dou (GUY & Karen) is very sensed here. You can find a soft melodies followed by inflexible guitar and a fame sample about the imitation of life . The track it self is very delightful because the streched melodies. The man brake on 03:35 is show the emotional side of this track and make it deeper for short time, but all the chaos come back on 05:20.

4. Neurotic Pulse – I'm feeling bizarre
David Abergel aka Neurotic Pulse is a new project. Unfortunately, I did not connect to this track at all...I found it boring without any target, just kick, baseline and some melodies around...bizzare track .

5. Chemical logic - Anti gravity
Kobi and Nof are the names behind the Chimical Logic project. "Anti Gravity" is a suitable compensation for the last track . It's start with deep introduction but the strong kick which come later is draw a different picture for this track. The brakes on this comp is really something I connected it much, and here it's happen again. I don't think this track has the powers to rock the dance floor, but it an enjoyable one for sure.

6. Ellis Vanghoul - Nerdlead
Elad Emek is the next to come...one more new name for me. I think Elad is trying to push the comp to the danceable direction and he do it nice actually. "Nerdlead" is not a dance floor stomper. but it can be a proper building for an avarage full on set. In my opinion, this track need more "life"...nothing special is happening...be more creative next time.

7. Mojo jojo vs Bubble - Time to kill
This time Guy and Karen set together with Yoni Aharon in the studion and released to the world the result - "Time To Kill". Despite the threaten name of the track, it is not more than home-listeing track. The female vocal on 01:00 is back on few tracks already and I think the artists need to search harder for thier vocals for not repeat the same vocals again and again. The single thing I like on this track is the melody on 03:45...I'm a melodic man...what to do ?! . This brake is awake the track a bit but it too late.

8. Rewind Evolution vs In Panic – I'm burning
Tal Ron is Rewind Evolution. This track is the life preserver of this compilation. I guess Itay's touch is close to my taste of music and thats why everthing he do is good for me . A happy track with positive energy on the air. I did not like much the idea of "I'm burning" singing, but it's kind of refreshing to the track.

9. Morning-Dust - New vision
Morning Dust is Mark Tasheav and finally he present a trach which can use as a good dj-tool. The baseline is exactly how it should be and the flow is nice. I don't have much words to write about this track, but I'll definitely keep my eye on the next materials from Morning Dust project.

10. Bubble - Hour of power
Three and half minutes of freestlye from Bubble. This "track" is unnecessary if you ask me...just a female vocal repeating again and again with boring baseline...exhausting.

There's alot of good ideas in the album, but it's buried under a mountain of cheesy melodies ( anthems?), a horde of generic psy synth stabs, ridiculous snare roll buildups, and a painfull mastering job: the top-end is too loud/bottom end is too muted, irritating the ears and making the tracks sound like compressed plastic.
This is only my opinion of course.
Row row row your boats gently down the stream; merrily merrily merrily merrily life is but a dream.
