Warp Brain Records first east coast of USA Psytrance and Progressive label presents:

“Kubensia” First V/A Compiled by “Enertopia”.

Psytrance electronica at its best!

Warp Brain Records was born in order to release the best of the underground Psytrance and Progressive trance music for the DJ, listener, dancer or a fan of emotional and powerful modern electronica.
Warp Brain Records first release is a compilation named ‘Kubensia’ compiled by the world known Psytrance producer ‘Enertopia’. The compilation contains top notch productions from artists such as: Mubali, Raz, EarWorm, Aural Invasion, Echoactive, Wizack Twizack, Zerohour (PsyTech Team) and more.
‘Warp Brain Records’ is definitely the label to look for quality, emotion and full on Psychedelic listening experiences. For the DJ, ‘Warp Brain Records’ will always release that track that blasts the dancefloor with euphoria.

Tracklist:
1. Echoactive – Half the Acid (BRA) 143 BPM

(1) The CD starts with a 143 groover, evolves very subtly. The beginning of the track has some breakbeats and then straight into the full on kick and bass. The builds are slow and groovy. There’s a nice break at 4:05 and back into the groove. This one would work well on the floor.

(2) The next track gets right into the techy full on. The psychedelic leads and melodies grasp you into a trance. Really nice work here. There’s a sample “We are intelligence behind nature, the intelligence that created all that is” followed by a breakdown. It gets right back into the mechanical sounds. Some more samples “The hallucinogens are drugs that primarily affect are on the mind, so they are frequently called Psychedelic, the rise of a fungus that grows on rye grain” “Psychedelics, Brain” Really loving the leads and melodies on this one.

(3) This one keeps it moving with the full on sounds. There’s a nice break at 2:49 “Stuck in my mind” It has a groovy bass line pickup. You hear some old acid 303 sounds. Nice one.

(4) It starts with a sample “Thinking back over the years and I feel this is quite the worth we’ve ever been put under, We’ve had some stinker but nothing like this powerful that one, I think its hard to forget, what, I think it happened.” There’s a break at 2:05 Followed by the sample “That’s ridiculous, your falling to pieces how can we be in a match box you idiot” It then continues with mechanical/scratchy sounds.. This one opens up nicely towards the end it gets melodic.

(5) This one grooves really well. It keeps evolving into getting more groovy. At 5:00 minutes there is a break. It then explodes melodies and build ups. Groove factor up one level.

(6) This track gets a bit darker. There’s a sample “we match patterns, within ourselves.” It gets right into a groovy baseline followed by some nice percussion. Mechanical sounds are back grooving away, there are some nice key changes in the melodies. It breaks at 3:53 “All of this is just a great illusion, we have no way of getting outside of us, what is real” The sounds and build ups are powerful and dark. Then come the synthetic leads and melodies. Nice one.

(7) This track is full of psychedelic sounds. The whole track progresses with percussion. This track fits really nice with the CD. It contrasts the other tracks well.

(8) This track starts of with a sample “Welcome”. It sounds like a movie soundtrack in the beginning; it evolves into more mechanical sounds.

(9) This one is a good closing track to the cd. Really like the sample in the end and the bass line, good stuff

I like the way the whole CD evolves from track to track. The track selection is super, Enertopia has done a good job choosing these tracks. Recommended for DJ’s, This CD will blast the floor! It contains tracks that are powerful, emotive, and psychedelic. Keep an eye for more blasters from this label.

zerohour tune is a crazy rush @ 147 bpm
