hey all..
well last year i went to the store and saw holographic memory compilation the cover did'nt got my attention but the other side did, fine artists, unreleased tracks so i took it, i like what i heard and the cd just did'nt came of my cd player, and that taking me to the next story, about half year later my friend birthday so i went to the store again and what can i buy him?? hmmm let's see.... OMG holographic memory 2!! if i buy him this one i'll kill 2 birds in one shot, he'll be happy about this great compilation, and i can hear it too (am i mean or what?). well, last month i went to the store and you know the rest.. got my self a copy of holographic memory 3, and that's the review i'm going to give here after all the bullshit at first i want to review the cover, well i can you that if i'll look at the 3 holographic memory covers from 5 meters ill think it's 3 identical covers, it's really boring and it'll be more eye catching if the next one will be different.

1) Deedrah - Free motherfuckers

well what a name! you know there is tracks that only from the name you can tell this one will be great and i was right! it's not an intro they give you just 1:07 to lay back and then boom it's starts, very minimal one from deedrah and after hearing it you'll get enthusiastic to hear the next bomb

2) Pixel and cyclic - nuclear device

nuclear stuff from pixel allright as usual pixel deliver the goods starts off very strong at 4 minutes some spacy sounds and vocals taking you to the last part of the track and to the end well not changing very much just like deedrah's..

3)Joti sidhu - Black eyes

great bassline at start from joti really pumping.. pumping in the way my neighbors from downstairs call and demand me to stop pump them the beat is very good as well not one of my favourits but it's a good one

4) Wrecked machines - Echo groove

i don't like them very much, one thing i can tell you that this one is not groovy at all like it's name it's just an ordinary wrecked machines track same sounds all the track, bass, break, bass+beat, break+vocal, bassline again

5) Hujaboy - just a freak

nice name, nice track usually i don't like hujaboy's tracks but that one was nice, makes you wanna dance, and exepct the bassline and beat there is more sounds, like a melody but not really but it gives a 3rd dimension to the track and that's good

6) Intelabeam - Be somebody

here we come to my favourite track in this compilation, when i hear this compilation i hear the 6th track and then the rest. it starts of very very slow with a distant beat just until 32 secs and then the bassdrum shows himself and at 44 secs it'll become part of your life in 2:12 it's getting stronger at bassline and at 2:40 silence the vocal says "i want to do something in my life, i want to be somebody" well we all do! and then fine entrance back to the track and the rest is for your mind and imagination

7) The antidote and dimitri

also one of my favourits here, dimitri's touch did very well for antidote very unique bassline here and nice backround sounds and liked the 303 sounds as well. and when the bassline is gone you know it's gonna do an awesome comeback! very diffrenet and smashing from antidote and dimitri i can think of few more artists that can use the spice called dimitri

8) Psysex & rocky - Brenner power

well in the past psysex was one of my favourite artists, and as time is passing by i'm hearing less from him and i don't like it cause i think he can do great things don't know who's rocky but i don't think he gave something good here for psysex at 4:00 awesome guitars come in and that's take the track to higher state, i liked that they put the guitars but did'nt let them to take over the track. i saw improvment here from psysex, i hope they keep it up

9) Synthetic - Space is da place

again you hear the name and you know it'll be something good, especially when synthetic is what we talk about, one of my favourits here, groovy as hell space is defintly the place to hear this one, synthetic know how to surprise you with the bassline. the track is very unique you need to listen to it to understand, space sounds rule there awesome strings at 5:14 launching you to the sad end of an amazing track

10) Tristan - activate yourself

well, i don't know how tristan got himself in this compilation, one of the boring tracks i heard lately, i tried very hard to find something special about this track but with no success, i like some of tristan tracks but this one is bad, i recommand u to pass this one

favourits : 6,7 and 9
well, that's the end folks, hope this review will help you in the decision of buying this compilation or not, keep up the good spirits

LOVE the first track!! Tristan stayed after he played at Origin festival and he played at our little local trance club here, and he opened with that track.....I was SOOO happy and bounced!!!

I thoroughly enjoyed this whole album, great for the home or the dancefloor!

My favs (even though I like them all): 1,2,4,6,10!           :: Life can be as bitter as dragon tears

Ok, just heard the album a few times..

The frist track is somewhat minimal and has a long intro . Very cool sounding intro and lets you know whats goin to happen.

My favs wud be the 2nd track by Pixel and Cyclic which reeally gets u started!!!
Bangin track !

The best track so far wud be Hujaboy-Just a Freak !

Insane track which is ripe for anybody. This track makes everythin worthwhile.

If solstice start signing bad israel music like spun then we have another label falling down.

Where do Intelabeam and Hujaboy belong around Deedrah, Tristan, Joti, Antidote and Gabriel???

Come on solstice release some more Etnica, Dino Psaras, GBU, Koxbox and Hallucinogen music.

Solstice Music,Twisted and Dragonfly are the only "full on" (and not only full on) labels that I like!High quality and not chessy childish tunes...as the most labels searching for..           www.myspace.com/tasos_notrea

Good for full-on maybe, but it gets tiring. Tristan's track is rather nice, a little cerebral... a lot of the rest is just okay. Kept searching but I couldn't find a stand-out track for the most part... some of this is a little cheezy and drugged out, not deeply psychedelic at all.

Deedrah's rocking the old school Transwave beat here - I found that much amusing.

lol

living in the past, are we?

Hujaboy and Joti tracks are nice here.. the rest could be a bit more psychedelic, imo.

          ..it's just another party..
