The only track that is really worth is, or course, the Astral Projection one. Because their sounds are unique. Lame or not, it still sounds good. But I really pit the "Israeli only" club. Some tracks I would flush in the toilet john after, what, 1 minute after listening. But it could be worse. What if they had featured things from 18 y.o. artists. Which is not rare nowadays..

peace and love.

Curiosity got me to listen to this one as well. I'll have to go with Acidhive on the Astral thing. Bored me.
Space Cat vs. Onyx is nice. The remix to Science is God has enough of the original to make it enjoyable for me. U-recken dissapointed me, he made some really very trippy and totally psychedelic stuff that was released with Doof, and this is totally standard formula trance. Shame.

The rest I haven't really listened to properly, just in the background, and nothing really grabbed my attention.

Well I am surprised! Astral track is just brilliant. Haven't seen it coming. Congratulation! After so long time they finally got it right. Combination of their golden years, and funky full on.
The last track is a good way to finish. All the tracks in-between are one level down but still this in a nice album.

Com.Pact Records and Trust In Trance has gathered and releases a compilation together. It is surprisingly compiled by Astral Projection, the Israeli super stars and pioneers in the psytrance scene. They haven’t released much lately, but here it seems like they try some kind of comeback...

Back To Galaxy (Com.Pact Records) 2005 (CPCDIL027)

1. Astral Projection – Open Society
2. Electro Sun – High Cue
3. Bizzare Contact Vs. Ultravoice – Ultrabizzy
4. Space Cat Vs. Onyx – Time Wolers
5. Xerox Vs. Passenger – Science Is God (Ultravoice Rmx)
6. U-Recken – The Other Side (Visual Paradox Edit)
7. Visual Contact – Natural Vibes
8. Ferbie Boys Vs. Bizzare Contact – Superheroes
9. Cosmic Tone – Bit The Moon
10. Wizzy Noise – Tubeless (Lish Rmx)

When you see the track list of this compilation, it seems like it is actually Com.Pact Records who has compiled it and not Astral Projection. At least the track list looks just like a usual Com.Pact compilation... Here we get pure clubby full on from beginning to end. Astral Projection has a new track on here too, but also this dissappointed me compared to older releases by them. Just way too fluffy! The rest is full of cheesy take offs, easy digestible melodies and no new ideas. Just the same Israeli full on we have been served way too much of the last couple of years.

This compilation shows pretty good how bad Astral Projection has become since the old days. I used to really like most of their releases, but here they serve clubby hits for kids! Sad, but true... Now, flame me!!

Must say I strongly disagree with PKS on this statement: "pure clubby full on from beginning to end". Lish's remix of Wizzy Noise is certainly not full on, but a beautiful, amazing 138 BPM progressive morning tune, which more than justifies for the purchase of this CD.

The rest didn't do anything for me, apart from the track from Astral Projection. I haven't really liked any of their releases since "Dancing Galaxy", but this new blend of full on and their old sound is actually very nice in my opinion.           DJ pr0fane (Iboga Records) | Multiphase

Oh boy someone will perhaps flame me for this but my goa-heart speaks when I listen to the preview clip of the Astral track.. I'm really bored with full-on these days but if I heard this track at a party, I'd definitely freak out... But right now as I am writing this, I am high on Astral vibes (an Astral Projection-lead will always make you happy) so perhaps I cannot judge properly because my senses are enjoying the Astral rollercoaster...

If there should be any full-on at all at my party, this is how it should sound (still speaking of the Astral-track only)...

I do not see how in anyway Astral's Track Is commercial. is there a crappie rapper singing on it? It has beautiful melodies and not the average full on baseline. The notes of this bass line arranged in special way. Something gr8 like bizzare contact - run away. Rare

Astral is back into the action with this track since 'anything is possible'. I hope the album will be good as this!!

What? It totally has the average full on bassline! But It doesn`t really matter. Just beacause it`s a typical bassline doesn`t make the track bad. Come on.

Besides. I like the Electro Sun track pretty well. All the others went right pass me

Ok ok I had another few listens and I must say my initial opinion was a bit off. (On the AP track that is)... Yes, the bassline is well used and it is a good melody they use. Reminds of old AP indeed. I still think old AP is better, but this new track is a pretty good one and a reminder of what they're capable of. Still, an average compilation in my book. But, worthy of buying if you like this full-on style.           "Subconscious unravels at the point of death, and all time it has known erupts into a moment. As death extinguishes us, so we become it."
