REVIEW:

Glowing Flame is a new label from London, UK, this is their debut release and I must say: Watch Out! This label will be one of the topz in no time, believe me.
We are in a time when many artists want to make fusions, mixing styles and influences wich is for sure fantatstic for our sound but sometimes, u just want to listen 100% PURE
PSY TRANCE, and thats exactly the attitude from GF crew. This debut compilation shows one significant old school attitude (wich we miss so much lately) towards what there is of most contemporary fullon today.
The result is a very fresh style of music and originality.
The cd starts with Groundzero - Aktive, Boxer n Shane did a great job here with a uncompromised perfect intro for a energetic compilation like this. Its folowed by Visual Paradox vs Perplex wich sounds so great as well, Com.pact is one of the best labels today and GF crew knows that, thats why they put a second compact crew artist inisde, no better act to fit the 3rd post than Ultravoice with the track Block, atmospheric and melancholic like always, tis track in my opinion makes the step forward for more psych demented sounds as u will hear from Rastaliens, Artax and Fractal Glider....Rastaliens both trax (Cheesefondy and Freelancer) are 2 of the best inside. after I listened their new album I was like, WOW , Rastaliens ROXXX, Im a bit tired of the fullon formulas and those 2 germanic guys show`s us how to do melodic groovy fullon without using cliche build ups and shit. RAW Fullon this is! Artax track puts a more minimalistic point of view into the middle of the cd, its always great to have that in a compilation like this even though u can find great melodies in the end of this track. Fractal glider - Avalancher is the 8th track, twisted harmonies and transposes give a nice and interesting spice to the almost end of the cd. Well Done. Beat Hackers - Transpose is the fast and furious last bomb in the Agni Hotra wich is ended by one introspective progressive goaish mental madness track by Setherian (oopps...its me! =))) .

Conclusion:

I think the best thing about this compilation is the track order chosen. I would only change the Beat Hackers of place with the Fractal Glider but its my opinion. Anyway, I like this comp. very muc, I like to see that some people still care about the true spirit of trance wich u can find here everywhere.
Oh and the artwork...fuck...its soooo killer!!!

My favs.: 1, 3, 4, 5, 6, 9

Yeah... This compilation has a great concept. You can actually see that tracks nicely follow the main idea behind this CD.

I like it, because it's not just another boring full-on-ish CD. It has its own style: full on + old school melodic touch = good original stuff

Both Rastaliens tracks are just great, especially "Freelancer"! I like those tracks better than most tracks on their new album. Fractal Glider - yesss ... good one

Setherian, that's a nice "back to the old days" track.

Overall, this CD rocks.

Agni Hotra is first compilation from Glowing Flame Records, label leading by Marko Daravelski, Macedonian best DJ for years and in this moment sound engeneering student in London. Although this label is based in London,I am not shame to say that this is first Macedonian Label.
From the first time when you get this cd in your hends you will see great cover artwork, and until you reading the artists who take part in it, you will see that this is full-on scenario.
After first listenig i found that this compilation transcend all my expectations and i said BRAVO Marko.
Groudzero-Aktiv is aktiv track for opening driving through melodies which will not abendon you till the end with Setheriana and Azimuth. However this si not melodic full-on like DJ Seth use to say, which is working on clasic uplifting cliche formula. From Visual Paradox I know what can i expect, knowing that Kick the Habit is still working in my cd-player.Next is Ultravoice with carcteristic melancholia always. Tracks from Rastaliens are the best imo,i will just sey master-piece.Watch out for Rastaliens-Live GFRCD02. Something what realy surprise me is Fractal Glider with Avalancher. This is the best track from Paul Mc Cosh i ever heard. I don’t like dark psy like he produce in his two albums, and this comes to me like wow this man goes more softy and make me hapy. Beat Hakers are duo, serious applicants on Israeli hiperproductiv scene.
In one word, this is great compilation, much more better than another compilations released by big and world known record companies for this year.
Buy this cd and suport this part of the globe, becouse we deserve that.
Me favorite 2,3,4(!),6,7(!!!),8,9
