From the hollow recesses of the Trick laboratory emerges the first in a series of deep rooted electronic outings; Abra Macabre, a glimpse into the future through an ancient fractal glass window.
Compiled by Scorb, aka Yod Onsen, Abra Macabre is an effervescing cauldron of warped out psychedelic electronica; combining established artists and exciting new collaborations. Marking Trick Music's second release, it follows 2007's hugely successful Ipso Fvcto, driving Trick's distinctive sound forwards for 2009.
Combining the punk psy tech of RAM, Scorb's deep theatrical sound, the stripped down techno-infused sounds of pHibian, Prism's morning grooves, the dark depths of Squid Inc. and the twisted electronica of Orzels Machine, Abra Macabre is a powerfully compelling and focused dancefloor compilation that will place you under its spell.......

01. ORZELS MACHINE TORQUE IS CHEAP
The Orzels Boys are back and psychedelic breaks never sounded so good! This industrially infused acid belter opens proceedings with flair and attitude.
02. SCORB - STRATAGEM
Moving away from the more cinematic Scorb sound, this ones a builder that sucks you in before developing into a nitrous fueled anthem! This will doubtless find it's way into many an outdoor set this festival season!
03. PRISM SIX PAPER JOINTS
A huge morning epic with an infectious sample that will stick in your head, trash your brain and refuse to leave! Originally intended for the Prism album Freedom 35 we've had so many requests for this one we were compelled to release it here instead.
04. SQUID INC - FIN
If you like it deep, fat and moody, then we know your gonna dig this. Superb work from the exclusive collaboration between Scorb and the Deviant one, giving you a glimpse of the future according to Squid inc! You want more? Sure you do, watch this space.
05. PHIBIAN LO-PHI
The evolutionary process is in full flow and we're definitely liking it! Lo-Phi is a gem of a track that has been smashing the place up in true style. With its dark yet accessible vibe, this track will be called upon time and again to deliver what the dancefloor needs.
06. PRISM vs PHIBIAN THE PROBE
The use of alliteration is a fine example of the diligence of these guys. A sly collaboration that traces the line between deep TechTrance and breakneck dancefloor driven Psy.
07. THE HOAX - FABRICATION
Is he a man or is he a woman? We don't know! But we do know that this epitomises the Trick sound, weaving intricate fx and themes over a dark and chunky low end that progresses smoothly from start to finish.
08. RAM ILLUMINATION
RAM need little introduction. Their 2 albums on Nexus Media and Last Possible Solution have been a staple for many DJs and a massive influence on producers the world over. RAM rock out another exclusive dancefloor stonker with all their trademark technopunk lunacy in full effect!
09. ORZELS MACHINE DESTRUKT (SCORB REMIX)
This is Scorb doing the business in fine style with a truly unique take on the dark and minimal original Orzels' version. Groundbreaking stuff that is intricately musical, slammingly wonky and with an enormously large finish. Can your rig handle it?

Yo Ady, curious 2 c what u got up ur sleeve with this one  Tracklist looks storming and from the few I know like the Six Paper Joints u sent it's gonna be a  twilight comp, goodluck with this release mate !
