well im about to spend some bucks on a synth.ive done good music with vsti, always been asked if i had a real one, answer has always been no, so ITs time i get one the virus was my dreaded dream, but i got a chance to try the GT and was very Very serious about sound modeling, Badass capabilites for morphing.

And the virus speaks for itself. Kboard versions almost cost the same Price aint a issue here.

but i need help, and ima buy it today. so Please help me out fellow producers :3

The virus is fantastic sounding, and speaks for itself, but remember it also has the sequencer integration that makes life with hardware synth damn easy

I want a GT very badly, but thats because i already got the virus TI           myspace.com/auralinvasion

i have both, and i can say to you dont think 2 times, and get the v-synth gt. its just in other league.

sure its more easy to work with the TI as you open it like normal vst , automations, exports and all that, but the the v-synth is just a diffrent beast. much more creative to work with , will spend much more time trying things in it than passint thrue the presets of the virus..

this is what i think.

but in the end, no matter wich one you will take you wont go wrong cuz both are amazing in thire own way.           www.myspace.com/vibetribestudio

i got a TI and i tried once a Vsynth...

So the Vsynth is an awesome device, very expressive you can go very far with it. It has very nice emulations too.
BUT
Vsynth is a digital synth. The result could be much colder than other synth...However with a good tube preamp it can work wonders.
The TI is simply the best. FAT sound. really. Plus you just load the VirusControl in your sequencer and you have 16 parts to play with...since i got mine my tracks do not sound the same.

That is an interesting point about tube preamp! If you don't mind me asking, which one do you use? Also is there a way to have all your 16 simultaneous Virus tracks running through a tube preamp?           -------------- Dark & Twisted Night Psy --------------

you can route the signal of all 16 parts to the same analog output ... and from there into any tube pre-amp, if you desire.

^^ i was just to write the same thing.. I don't know this V synth so I cant speak about it, but the TI is just awesome. Its a great synth, great soundcard, and great midi controller. The sound is amazing and just cuts through the mix. I would first get the Ti then think about maybe a real analog. I love how the virus control just integrates into your sequencer and acts like a vsti. You can see the knobs move as you tweak, your presets are always right infront and easy to browse through. I think even if it was a VSti just buy itself it would be better layed out then anything else. I say get a Virust Ti!! you wont regret it
