Following the Prooved 2 compilation, Plastik Park is ready to unveil the latest chapter in their musical saga – Outsider. D-Nox & Tobias Bayer give the reigns to Brazilian progressive star and Plastik Park label DJane Tati to display her own unique musical vision. In the last few years, Tati has given her own special touch to dancefloors across the world including such notable festivals as Voov, Arvika, Full Moon, Boom and Ypy Poty. Tati has selected 8 gems, 7 previously unreleased, which ride the fine line between progressive house and trance.

Tracks:
01. Igal.M – I Still Like It
02. James Benitez – Not Over Yet (Deep Abyss Mix)
03. Kasey Taylor & Chris Meehan – Simplicity (Parham & Dominic Plaza Remix)
04. Vision & Canedy - Laguna
05. Fitalic – Control Your Mind
06. D-Nox & Beckers – You’re a Star
07. Eelke Kleijn & Rootger van Bostelen – Remind Me
08. Shaman – C U Groove

01. Igal.M – I Still Like It
Opening Outsiders is Igal Magitman from Israel, a young producer who has already seen success with the psytrance project, Elec3. For his solo work, he explores the deeper and more emotional side of trance as perfectly stated in the gentle composition I Still Like It. A soft bassline weaves beneath lush atmospheres and velvety chords, while a light vocal sample smoothly floats through the mix, creating a work that will both touch the heartstrings and move the feet.

02. James Benitez – Not Over Yet (Deep Abyss Mix)
After releases on Star 69 and Release Grooves, Greek producer George Apostolakis aka James Benitez provides the ethereal Not Over Yet. Tight percussion and a bouncing bass set the stage where an array of melodic elements and echoed effects give the musical impression of blissfully drifting through a dark cavern.

03. Kasey Taylor & Chris Meehan – Simplicity (Parham & Dominic Plaza Remix)
Rising Australian stars Kasey Taylor and Chris Meehan (Vapour Records) show their prowess for crafting a simply unforgettable melody that reaches deep into the soul with the stunning and dramatic progressive anthem Simplicity. Remixers Parham & Dominic Plaza beef up the low-end for a re-working that is oozing with melancholic dancefloor energy and will rumble sound systems to their core.

04. Vision & Canedy - Laguna
Following their album Another Life on Hadshot, as well as 12” releases on Plusquam, Avalanche and Earregular, German duo Marco Mellmann and Marc Vision show here what they do best. Tribal percussion, deep bass, and eerie atmospheres combine in Dusk to create a psychedelic-progressive work of art destined to move butts and leave the legs sore. Yeaah.

05. Fitalic – Control Your Mind
Robin Fitter and Jeroen Wunderlich, aka Fitalic (Vapour, Sprout, Bedrock) from the Netherlands add their own touch of progressive funk to Outsiders with the tribal-infused Control Your Mind. Offbeat deep-brass stabs give a framework over which percussive layers and synths provide the feel of a live electronic jam session.

06. D-Nox & Beckers – You’re a Star
With releases on Sprout Music and forthcoming works on Vapour Records, Vapourised and Infusion’s own Polaroid imprint, D-Nox and Frank Beckers give their newest exercise in electrorock-infused dance music – You’re a Star. Overdriven chords and a looped vocal sample layer over a sexy, slowly-grooving bassline, giving way to a catchy lyric hook. A wailing melody seeps into the mix for the track’s comedown, giving “You’re a Star” all the elements to stay stuck in your head long after you’ve left the floor.

07. Eelke Kleijn & Rootger van Bostelen – Remind Me
Taking time from his busy studio schedule involving releases and remixes for Lost Language, Segment, Toes in the Sand, and Blu-Room, young Dutch producer Eelke Kleijn teams up with long-time production partner Rootger van Bostelen for his return to Plastik Park. Remind Me is an energetic and uplifting work with all the tools a track needs to be a progressive dancefloor hit. A pumping bass drives the track to its euphoric break where a blissful melody skyrockets the tune into the stratus.

08. Shaman – C U Groove
Closing Outsiders is Swedish producer Andreas Henning aka Shaman (Plusquam, Digital Structures), with the deeply-chugging C U Groove. A punchy low-end carries the track through effects, slapping hi-hats and light melodic elements, before a classic-sounding melody takes over and carries the CD to an atmospheric close.

"Prooved Vol 2" was definitely one of the best progressive house/trance compilations last year, and the lineup for this baby looks impressive as well. I have huge expectations for another smashing release           DJ pr0fane (Iboga Records) | Multiphase

hey guys really good compilation here!! great music selection and nice groove!!

I liked tracks 1,2,3,4,6!!!

the only disappointment i had was unfortunately from the shaman track which is a bit thin compared to the rest of the monstrous sound in the compilation
but all in all great one again!!

Best of luck
