v/a - wabi (flying rhino)

Pure & atmospheric ambient collection..flying rhino was a very quality label and i'm sad that it doesn't exist nowdays..

As for my best ambient collection..hmmmm
it's very difficult to say.there are a lot..different styles. but ''ambient meditation'' and ''the future sound of ambient'' series are a masterpiece of music !

Wabi is lovely...very deep chill!

it has a great name in Japanese. Wabi Sabi is a kind of "secret" Japapense esthetic of elegance, simplicity, and zen ambient style.

The idea of this album is very good, extremely relaxed ambient. There is one big misstake with it though. You have to have the volume very high to hear all the subtle sounds, and then it's to high to be able to relax to the music. Also there are some "sound errors", for example 2:07 in the Doof track, why the FUCK does he add that shit? Hurts in your ears and destroys the chillout feeling.

So this album is a good idea but it seems this genre is not quite evolved... it needs better production and not stupid sound errors. I don't think I've heard any other albums the same style though? Are there any more?

Goblim, I would really suggest you to take a look at www.betweeninterval.com. Reminds me a bit of Biosphere, but still, unique.
