Well, Koan (by vacuum stalkers) is a chill-downtempo-etnic-electronica project and very very very nice music. Everybody likes it here. About releases - future will show.

excellent compilation for anyone looking for some thing more then wall of sound in psychedelic trance. Stylish mixture of all the tendencies in one listenable and very dancefull compilation.

I liked the Koan chill out a lot 2!
Last weekend i had a chance to lsiten some of those while dancing, Neoris and Vaccum Stalekrs track is a bomb!
Progus-wow! really nice sound and pretty full onish preassure.
and the Breakpoint Fuzzion remix!!!this track is made to dig deeep,this synths melody is still playing in my head!!!

Actually "Warm Evening in Munich" not pure Koan
and this track not Daniel Roeth too. W.E.I.M.- is an
experimental symbiosis by Koan & D.Roeth.
Very soon we rewriten some losted parts of
"Warm Evenings" cycle including themes from many cities around the planet Earth.
Also we have finished north epos overtures named
"Terra Incognita". Very cold, very air, very mountain tunes like a early ('86) Tangerine Dream
LP.
Unfortunately works above Vacuum Stalkers are now stopped because we have a problems free time. But may be. May be... =) |

the next piece of news is good and bad at the same time...
The CD is delayed for some time (till winter) due to some reasons.
BUT the good side of it, as I've already said, is that it will be a real quality product.

So *this* is the music coming out of Russia?!?!?! How long have I been sleeping???? 
I just listened to the samples....really damn nice. Quite a bit more thickness than the typical progressive stuff, but still nothing near full-on sound. Psychedelic trance is coming back. Finally.
January 15 needs to hurry up and get here.
