Is it like a continuum to SST - Kumharas?           "The dinosaurs became extinct because they didn't have a space program."

What was the SST - Kumharas? the first album released by them? If so, i think yes, it is a continuum.
Bougth mine @ Psyshop and i'm really happy with it, tomorrow i'll play some tracks of this album at the chill out of a party here in my city. A very diversificated album that goes from the deepest ambient flute experience till the most loungy vocal tracks.
The only music that disapointed me in this album was the Maven & Mancini one, but ALL the other ones, with no exception, were really well accepted by my ears.

I wanna congratulate the people in Ibiza for the great compilation they've made.

But searching for more info @ the internet i found that no, it ins't the continuum of that album you said. It's the continuum of Kumharas Ibiza - House D'arret.

Yes the Kumharas is a restaurant in Ibiza where all the artists featured on the compilation have been playing...

Far far from the Shiva Spaced one

I mean not psychedelic chill out... but although really excellent loungey music !           .

The first Kumhara is absolutely amazing,I play in the restaurant once in a while when I´m in the island.
This Kumharas has nothing to do with the first SST( )And if is good or bad loungey well,it depends on the (I mean in the restaurant) so...same same with the CD I guess.

it wishes it was part of the original kumharas. this one is fluff, pure background. nothing rules on it. 8(

BlueSpectralMonkey.... Trust me this one is really good, in the wide very wide "lounge" style...

Much much muuuuch better than Claude Challes and the Buddha Bar series (in example, if the word "Lounge" makes you think about it..)

The PM-FM track is superb with skilled guitar chord, and "Serious Muzak" by Sunstars is just amazing !

Very eclectic ! (I was very surprised to see Les Fous de la Mer featured on it - album @ Elektrolux records)..

Maybe U should give it one more chance !

I'm enjoying both Kumharas so... no problem for me !           .

Beautiful place..beautiful people..beautiful music..
One of the best sunset bars in Ibiza !
Music may not take us to the Moon or let us live forever, but as we enter trough the doors it is opening before us, we find things far beyond our everyday experiences..

Fore more info of the cafe lounge: http://www.kumharas.org

Extremely loungy, this album fits perfectly on a bar, a restaurant and of course, at the Chill-out . The Grasscript track is simply insane fitted with lot of emotion. This album got tracks for the morning, for the afternoon and for the night. For the sun, and for the rain. I really think it's a good album for having and playing.

Peace my friends
