Cosmic Conspiracy Records are pleased to present their second compilation "Contact Lens" compiled by ‘Dj Wizdumb’ and Melbourne artist ‘Ozone’. Following on in a similar style to the first album ‘Enginewitty’, this fresh disc also moves into some lighter and dreamier domains whilst retaining maximum crunchy groove. As with ‘Enginewitty’ again intoduced are some new talent from far flung corners of the globe, this time they are joined with some more established acts.
Introducing the artists… ‘Cosm’ from New Zealand a fresh act with a distinctive dub vision for their morning epic,and anyone who have caught there live act's will know these guys deliver.
‘Shadow FX’ and ‘Tetrameth’ are brothers from Melbourne.Au combining for some phat and bouncy earth exploration.
Brazilian Duo ‘Minimal Criminal’ telescopically transfer two distinctive tracks swinging between disco and dark salsa.
‘Alfredo Garcia’, already known for some brilliant releases has a funky guitar offering up for focus, an instant summertime classic.
Underground Danish composer ‘Djruth’ provides a minimal masterpiece that may leave visual trails long after hearing.
‘Sensient’ needs no introduction and his X-Ray vision here goes deeper than the ground.
‘Psypox’, from Denmark with his first release rolls into dawn space with a stompy magic carpet ride.
Mexico’s ‘Visua’ has an eye opening morning monster,
and ‘Ozone’ with some help from Melbourne dj Sgt Dan end the eye/ear appointment with a dirty fat groove.
