Leaving a groundbreaking 2004 in the dust, Hadshot kicks off a hot 2005 release schedule with the 3rd volume in the successful Chosen series. DJ Yaniv reaches through his bag to choose a collection of the best tunes sure to give any dancefloor a serious workout. With a whopping 11 tracks to choose from, 9 of which are making their first appearance on CD format, Chosen#3 is a must-have tool for any DJ looking to add a little fire to their CD case.
Setting the stage in for an exercise in genre bending is the dirty electro-pop-flavored “Come On” by Johannes Heil side project State of Chaos. Hamburg-based prodigy Kid Alex provides his latest outing, “St. Tropez”, featuring the filthy funkin’ remixing talents of the Groove Rebels. Parisian stars Black Strobe give the CD a bit of intensity with the ominously tough-as-nails “Chemical Sweet Girl (Dub)” – a track which has received worldwide dancefloor and radio support from many top DJs (Sven Väth, Westbam, Radio 1 Essential Selection). Tim Healey & Pete Martin of Coburn fame unveil their newest project Body & Soul with the deliciously naughty “Girls & Boys (Girls Mix)”, a track which has garnered much attention both on the dancefloor and in the charts (#6 in DDC & DCC). DJ Nukem adds his signature sexy tribal groove flavor in his re-working of Invent’s freshest release, “Club Game” by progressive heavyweights Martin H. and Oliver Klein. Hadshot offers the first of 2 exclusive previews, the acidic tech-house groover “White Lines” from Antichic & Popped! (soon to be featured on 12” vinyl). Dutch veterans and globetrotters Michel de Hey vs. Secret Cinema add their heavily-supported tech-trance hit “Another Sweater” – an overdriven gem sure to thrust the dancefloor into maximum throttle. German psy-trance stars X-Dream show their prowess in the electro realm, smashing musical frontiers with the pumping cyber-sci-fi gem “The First (Club Mix)”. The most perfectly-matched producer-remixer combination of 2004 comes together in the luscious “Colours” remix – a massive big-room anthem which pairs the flawless compositional talents of Swedes Son Kite alongside formidable remixing talents of Australian luminary Luke Chable. Texan producer Herbert Berkley aka Smight shows why he is one of the most talked about producers of today, turning out the eerily trippy after-hours tune “Labels, Lies & Warnings”. Closing this chapter of the Chosen series is the second Hadshot exclusive – Schatsi’s (of Psysex fame) ragga dub-inspired downtempo piece “Lo Fi Experience”.

This is without a doubt the strongest of the 3 Chosen CDs so far. So many strong tracks on it - Kid Alex, Martin H & Klein, Black Strobe, X-Dream, Smight, State of Chaos, and the masterpiece that is the Luke Chable remix of Son Kite.

thanx all im happy like always for the support from wen dsday on it will be availble everywhere... and zombie yes this girl - well as the tracklist improve the girls should improve 2
sherlockalien, krelm - yes website, i know i know its on my "TO DO" list since 1999 together with cosmophilia website ...
finally cosmophilia website is on so i guess im running out of excuses - the thing is that i have much more fun and motivation to work on new releases than on a website but lets say "under constraction" |
