In this one, you got yourself a good dose of fresh, inspiring, groovy, progressive music. Shall we go through the tracks?

04. Tribalistic Society - Dirty Beats

07. Edu Yattah – Highway
08. Monoque - Distance Unknown (Tribalistic Society Rmx)
09. Groovepatcher - In My Dream
10. Sumsuch – Underwear Model

Let me take you through the tracks:

01 :: Decoy - Push Button Pony ( Perfect Stranger Remix)
Yuli come here with a fantastic remix of nothing less than Decoy’s – Push Buttom Pony, the best track of that awesome piece of music released in 2007. Nothing better than a calm, relaxing, tripping sounds, with smooth melody just starting to show followed by FXs and you suddenly begins to enjoy it. Yuli always mange to create and incredible atmosphere, not too exaggerated, yet not too slow. About the middle, it gives you a bit of Techno feelings, blend to the Progressive atmosphere. The percussions, FXs are perfectly matched. And this a a long track, but it doesn’t sound so. You just get yourself into the breaks and that perfect comeback. Just slowing nicely to the end. Love the track.

02 :: Ziger - Deep Feelings
Ziger is the solo project of Harris Zigeridis born in 1981 in Salonica and raised in Athens, and focused on progressive house and trance music. This one starts with a nice deep sound and some voice that sounds like a rhythm. Percussion is awesome, mixed witht the baselines and nice FXs. It comes and goes and that massive energy, with nice drums and percussion kicking like hell. Scratching leads on the break and a smooth stop. Imagine youself stopped, just waving your head around the Dance-foor on a sunny afternoon. And than we get some Tribal back and cutting edge sounds and killer atmosphere. Nice follow up.

03 :: Edu Yattah – Solar
VJ, DJ and producer Eduardo Yattah was borned in Buenos Aires in 1984. His music style goes from Downtempo, Minimal and Dub Techno to Electro and Progressive house. Electro driving leads, and tinny percussions with slide effects and funky baseline. High hats begin gently just blending into the combination of powerful Electro baseline, Progressive leads and melodies, and a superb splashed kick jumping away side by side with the high hats. A small stop to get fully Progressive. That’s nice, I mean to start a bit Electro funky and get Progressing to this wonderful sound.

04 :: Tribalistic Society - Dirty Beats
Tribalistic Society is Brian Jensen from Denmark signed to Domo records and a guy already more than known in the Progressive area from his talent and genre, which is very personal and deep. It starts kinda ping pong kicking, and a superb melody creating a nice flow on the beginning. Percussion is nice and deep. The break has nice applause, which I thought gave the track an incredible energy. And comes back groovy and uplifting. Some break beats slowing things a bit, a nice touchy female voice saying something I don’t get, but find it hot. This is track is powerful and tripping, in a more hypnotic way. Hell yeah.

05 :: D-Jack - The Snake
D-Jack is Marcel.K, born in Germany and one of the pioneers of the Belgium Techno scene. Some minimal leads to start it with a nice deep sounds that reminded me of places and images such as avatar, or some killer sci fi movie. The high hats enter slowly, speeding a bit in some parts. Kicks pump in, and a break the leads you to the beginning of the track’s peak. Baseline gets funky in a very nice and unique way. And grooving high hats to make you feel good. And an awesome emerging FX to end it.

06 :: Ziger - Time To Go
Here comes Ziger again, only this time starting with some electrish baseline leads, uplifting sounds and a nice atmosphere. It’s very dance floor and should do it’s job properly there. Some nice spacey alien voices on the mid-end, perhaps a bit too much cause its repetitive, but it’s ok. Didn’t like the ending vocal though.

07 :: Edu Yattah – Highway
This is a more deep and hypnotic Edu Yattah, comparing to track 3. A spooky vocal and a deep, Dark in a way baseline, and some awesome high hats and the percussions just. There’s a smooth guitar sound as well close to the break The break is pretty hypnotic and deep, with the vocal and guitar sounds leading you to the surprising comeback. Groovy and catchy cause of the guitar, this one stucks in your mind. Not in the bad way of it, of course.

08 :: Monoque - Distance Unknown (Tribalistic Society Rmx)
Brian is back with something more calm and relaxing, this time chilly and just Progressing all the way. The melodies are nice as usual, and there’s a nice speech on the middle and the FXs are kinda of spacey and psychedelic. Maybe too deep. I’d be good to see some more power in it.

09 :: Groovepatcher - In My Dream
I dind’t find any information about the artist, so if someone could share some light would be awesome. This is more minimalist Techno track with a tiny touch of Progressive melodies, but keeping the Techno vibration, getting more chilly and relaxing towards the end.

10 :: Sumsuch – Underwear Model
Another fresh sound, very relaxing and Jazzy. With some Donwtempo elements and some nice bases creating together a good flow, it’s a very good idea, with a good tool, to end a remarkable ride.

Bottom line:
Dance N Dust has a tradition to release quality, different and totally unordinary music. Beat Wins is nothing less than that. The sequence 1-4 is just marvelous, and from that part on, it slows down a bit, creating a little story between the tracks.
I’m sure many of you have already delighted yourself to any other Dance N Dust release, and I assure you won’t regret this one either. Go grab it.

Favorites: 1(!), 2(!) 3 (!), 4(!!) and 7.
