I thought that I would review this compilation because it has a lot of well-known artists on it. Vibe Tribe, Sirius Isness, Bizarre Contact, and D-tek have put out some good stuff.

System Activated- D-Tek
"the emergency destruct system is now activated"
This one jumps out with a wicked hard bassline. Wooooo! Fly brother! Okay, breathe...that was like getting force fed a full-on sandwich! I'm glad there is a break... well, that was short lived. Pretty good energy in this track, but definitely not a lot of variety. Good opener though. 7/10

I am Mad- Gataka
Come along children. Now we're going to have a little music, like old times
Spacey sounds to start, and then "loudness." We are introduced to some GMS-style whooshes and then a hard metallic sound in a simple pattern. This track is not my cup of tea, just noisy and angry. 5/10

Brain Wash- Bizzare Contact

Now these guys are always good for some power. A gurgling sound(I wonder what that is;)?) We have a Terminator 2 sample..."sorry kid your mom's a psycho!" Nice grundgy lead and now...we are playing...with POWER! I like the tone of this track, dark but very fluid. Various sci-fi samples, and then back to the rhythm. Nice sensitive strings at the end, didn't expect that. This is an ok track. Nothing spectacular, but worth a listen. 7/10

Viranchi the Creator- Paranormal Attack "You crazy sonofabitch, what did you do?" Middle East sample that I have heard somewhere before, but I am not sure where. We move into a simple muted bassline and some various psy popping in. The distorted lead is severe and dominates. Good movement, but it doesn't last long enough. It is replaced by an annoying saxophone sound..oy get rid of it! There is the lead again, and a harder, sharper lead joins it. After a break it just becomes noisy. Average track 6/10

Overload- Beat Hackers Starts with a pretty standard full-on bassline but we have laser goodness! A Morgan Freeman sample comes in and a nice lead finds its place amidst the lasers. You can hear the Infected Mushroom influence. Good flow to this one. Decent track. 7/10 I love lasers.

About Life- Sirius Isness This one has an errie feel to it. Different sounds coming at you left and right. The bassline is hard and you can just feel it building. However, there are guitars in here, but they sit well in the mix and don't scream cheese. I like the break at 5 minutes with that sad wind instrument. Average track. 6/10

Souroundet- I.C.S. Don't know what that means or who this is, but here we go. We have a simply pounding kick with various bits of psy peering at me. The lead is a metallic one, that has a stutter-step quality to it. Nice melody at the 3:20 mark and the hi-hats are running with it. Pretty good track that you can get caught up in. 7.5/10

Devils Apple- Vibe Tribe "You can turn your back on a person...but never turn your back on a drug I really liked the Vibe Tribe album, so I have high hopes for this one. As usual they bring the melody whooping stick, and there is plenty of power. Not much to say really, just enjoy the ride! 8/10

Spliff- Burn In Noize Now that is a rough sounding lead! Simple bassline and an overwhelming hi-hat. The break at 2:40 is reall well done and it isn't long before you are thrust right back into the fray. The lead doesn't change much and to tell the truth, really grates on the nerves after a bit. Ehh. 6/10 for the groove.

Conclusion This is basically your average full-on compilation. The tracks are pretty good for the most part with only a couple fillers. If you don't care for full-on, then this isn't for you, because no great discoveries were made here. It will move you to a point but no need to write home about it. 7/10
