With 15 years experience of DJing , Lucas has a passion for a wide scope of music. A master of many styles and one of the best mixers around, he is one of TIP's main Djs, frequently representing the label around the world. He is presently compiling a CD for TIP due for release later this year. His intelligent and totally professional approach provides huge enjoyment to crowds wherever he goes.
To say that DJ Lucas is experienced is putting it mildly! His DJ career began in the mid to late eighties as a scratch mix hip-hop/electro/funk DJ with a fasination for electronic music.
Within a few years he was helping to pioneer the evolving underground acid house/techno movement, which shaped the future of dance music as we know it, playing at parties and warehouses in London.
In the early nineties Lucas emerged from the underground to make his name on the techno scene playing regularly at such legendary clubs as Club UK, The End and Heaven. Before long he was playing at international level.
His diverse interest in music enabled him to venture into the more psychedelic aspects of techno/trance. After guesting at a TIP party in 1998, Richard Bloor and Raja Ram of TIP records were quick to snap him up to represent their label.
In early 2001 Lucas was appointed label manager of the highly respected Flying Rhino Records. Later that year his repuation and involvement in several forms of dance music earned him a monthly residency on Groovetech Radio broadcast to the world via the internet.
This year, in between his busy schedule, he compiled his first mixed CD called 'Essence' - the fourth chapter in the popular Re:evolution series on FR

Yes Lucas is really one of the best world wide djs, i am listening him in "Barutana" in Belgrade, and he played a exelent set, and i suppose that he bring his talent into this release ... I am looking forward to this !!! |

For sure this will be something with Bamboo, Orion, Logic Bomb 3 of my favorite projects.
Only strange is to see TCD getting release again after being released by maia records on is last compil on August if iam not mistaken.
