UTOPIA - the official After Boom Party

Hello Utopic beings:
The flux engines are operating at full steam, heading for the awaited 2006 global psychedelic gathering - the Boom Festival... and therefore Utopia the after Boom party!
We are now just a few days from both these events. Here are some detailed news for you regarding the after party - Utopia!
Location:
Utopian crew have travelled the four corners of Portugal to find such an idyllic place as S. Gião Camping grounds, in Oliveira do Hospital at the edge of the beautiful natural reserve of Serra da Estrela.

Line-up:
Artistical beings from all around the planet will bend their artefacts towards the Utopia multi-sense flow.

Fleamarket area:
Utopia follows the Boom Festival as a multiplatform for all kinds of arts within the psychedelic scene. We are trying that the Flea Market be also a piece of Art. Each shop, stand or pitch is Art by itself. So the Flea Market Area is looking for creative and beautiful shops. Utopia is open to all sorts of projects and only the best and most beautiful ones will be selected.
Due to space limitation the stores will be installed in one dedicated area: 15 stores for the Flea Market Area.
We are still looking for interesting shops to fill the fleamarket area, so if you are interested please request both Application Form & Conditions & Rates to utopia@boomfestival.org
Note: the deadline to receive full filled Application Form is 25 July.

This will be your last chance to buy a budget Utopia ticket. After this you will only be able to purchase tickets at the Utopia gate at a much higher price.

Important notes:
The gates of Utopia will open at:
9.00 AM (GMT) 11th of August 2006
Please do not come to the gate before this time.
Avoid long waiting queues; come to Utopia gate during the day and night of the 11th August.
everybody must leave the site 'till:
12.00 AM (GMT) 14th of August 2006
The camping area will only be accessible by foot for tents placing, no cars or vans will enter.
Utopia exists within a beautiful pristine forest zone. The surrounding nature is fragile.
At Utopia we challenge you to think about this clearly and carefully! If you are Nature, why do you dump garbage in the floor or damage vegetation and harm animals? Effectively you are doing those things to yourself! So wake up and start taking better care of yourself!
Always be eco conscious and bio smart!

Wonderful wonderfu party, in a beautiful place, it looked like a painting.
The only bad thing was the parking, because there was lots of cars to the parking of the camping, so there was lots of cars in the road close to the party, and it was a little bit confuse.
Beautiful people everywhere, joy and happiness, and a nice camping in the party.
Party decoration was nice, liked the vj in the main floor at night, and the chill out at night was awesome, but some pillows on the chill out would be nice 
It was too bad that Rinkandik didnt play, but other artists they did very well.
Loved Tristan live, this man always makes me jump and smile  great great musics.
Menog was a blast as usual, great great live in that cold morning.
Loved Kristian and Korpora dj sets, those kind of musics that i enjoy listening,and good mixes!
Loved the live of Cooltour in the chill out
And congratulations once more to the ecoteam for their work cleaning the party. Nice work.
Utopia was a ending of 2 weeks of pure fun, joy and being outside the reality that we have to live every day. Thanks to all for this beautiful party!
life is short or to long so i can give myself the luxury of living it so bad.

All I can say now is.... WOW!
I had my B'day at Utopia and was definitely one to remember for life... Everything was beautiful... Music, people, place. Big ups to Utopia crew! I have a strong feeling that I'm coming back to Portugal to see all these beautiful people sometime soon! |
