Just had a look at this party in Niigata...
Looks wicked! Same time as the Space of Sound (mother) festival. I wanna go to both!!!Anyone got any ideas about it?

The music is TOTALLY different.
Mother is full-on trance only on the main stage. Plus lots of good psyambient on the chill.
Utage has a little pystrance, but it's more aimed at progressive trance/progressive house. There is also drum and bass on one side stage and jam bands on another side.
Which one you go to depends totally on what kind of music you are into. I will of course be at Utage. I don't think I could survive ten minutes on the main floor at Mother, but the Mother chill stage looks fantastic! |

Russ is right. Your choice entirely depends on the music you're into.
I love psychedelic so I would prefer Mother. You will need a lot of energy because there's a lot of full on music but also a chill area to rest your feet and mind!
Utage with its progressive house and progressive trance might be a bit more relaxing. Drum and Bass stage is an interesting idea, never been to an outdoor D&B party before, dont know how this music will suit the outdoors. As long as they dont have those stupid MCs crapping on it should be interesting. Should be a mixed crowd with the D&B fans and House and Progressive people all mixed together. I think the Mother crowd will be exclusively psychedelic maniacs.
Have fun which ever you choose.
