Hi i just got a an emu xboard 25 midi controller..i figured out how to use it in fruity loops but cubase sx is another story..could someone explain how i can use the knobs on my keyboard to modify filters n stuff on the vst's?

Try right-click on desired knob(vsti),and see does it have midi learn option(it depends which synth do you use).If it doesn't have midi learn option,than you have to map the controls...
p.s. Maybe your controler have presets for some synths(for example,evolution keyboard have it).
