Hi,

I want to control my vst effects using a midi controller , I want for example controll my waves Q4 .
I tried using the device manger - generic device for programming the midi map.
But I can not find a way to controll this vsts .
What I do in the device manger - generic remote is pen a vst mixer channel assign it to the relevant track and then in the value/action I look for the Q4 but it is not thre .

Can any one help me on this one ?

having problems with this myself - GTN, the generic remote is supposed to solve the issue of manually configuring your midi device to each cc# of the desired vst parameter.

anyone that does this successfully ? everyone keeps talking bout the oxygen 8 - noone knows howto use it properly ??

hey guys ,
So,
If anyone still cares ,
I have foun out that my problem realy was the sx version,
I have now the sx2.2 so the generic remote here supports all vst parameters ,
So in order toconroll the waves or nomad's etc plugins I open the generic remothe and assign to the vst mixer -> what ever channel -> insert > effect params .

So thanks all,
This is a very usefull tool

Sid
