the crapy speakers in my macbookpro are good as ns10 style.
what is good too is to have a speaker wihtout any crossover ,just one woofer i find sound can be tight on the mids ,i have feeling it influence timings and maybe transients ..
the range around 1,5/3k on my monitors can be tricky when tweaking kick and bassline and i think it s cause its usually the region for crossover.. |

its more like the ns 10 sound bad (or not really fun to listen to), but if you manage the mix on them, it will sound great om all systems..thats what they are famous for
