using Hall in Goa and some more questions

Hi, im from germany and since the english lesson some years left  i hope its coherent. This time i work on my first goa project with fl studio! there were some bases & ideas before but now i try to finish a track. I'm active in many genres but i don't know enough about goa and psytrance. Of course i read a lot interesting things in this forum! but there are still some things i don't care how to realize. First. what hall effects do you use? is it better to use hall less or much? For me it seems like the delay is more important, right? Then the arrangement - is it better to play the loop a long time or to variate the sounds / patterns all 30 secounds a little? Now to breaks: right now i have a 1 minute and - break in the middle of the track with some slow, groovy broken beats. does it match with the structure of goa or is it a crime to use long breaks without the base?  Now enough questions. And if you got some other tips for a apprentice in the genre - please tell me

listen to music you like and get inspiration No rules..
and its called reverb and is usually used alot yea

You better listen to some mature trance music and analyze it, than 10 times read any forum.

Me personally use Dreamverb / Realverb plugin by UAD. But that doesn't really make any difference. Any plugin that can do hall will do.

It is better to use enough for this exact arrangement.

If it is more important for you - use it more. Otherwise use it enough.

Please variate the sound until you think it is necessary to loop it.

Is it a crime to have 3 wives? Sorry for the offtopic  It depends. If your buildup was huge then the break may be long. On the other hand if your break is interesting, musical and even genius - please make such as long as u can.

Hall is reverb too
Seems like the author knows the thing but only not introduced enough to the genre.

Not really..Hall is more like Corridor or venue (music hall) sure everybody knows what is ment but "Hall" is the german word for reverb so i thought he would like to start using the exact term..dont wanna be nit picking tho..

Hi Makus, thank you for the informations. I hear a lot of classic trance (1994 - 2002). There is affinity to Goa, too. Actually for producing i use "epicVerb" cause it's free. yeah, if a track is finished, I'll show you my work. That's important for me!
Hi Suloo, thank you for the motivation. I think there are to much barriers in my head! I will chanche. You're right! But it's true, in germany we say hall (whether true or it may not)
