I thought "psybass" evolved from the 303 bass?
Foundation of GOA...
Most early tracks and some of the best tracks IMO use this. |

in think shakta and those old school goa trance artists use a tb 303 bassline and it sounded cool well it still does... check out some shakta tunes ;D i think even simon postford used 303 in some tracks |

most of haullucinogens stuff was done on Korg MS20 s
cant really remember him using a 303
but your right the origional synth for psi bass was a static 303 sound |

Actually I read somewhere a LONG time ago Posford "sometimes" used two 303's one on square and one on saw. I can't for the life of me find that article but it was very technically detailed. I am pretty sure its long gone now though : ( because I have searched and searched and searched....
I remember most of it however.
Anyone remember this? |

Thank you for clarifying.
I was young when I read that article as I remember, I freaked out and ran outside laughing and giggling hysterically at the new knowledge I gained.
Since I've built multiple x0xb0x's to try an recreate what I had read.
Actually now that I think about it they have removed a ton of really amazing interviews with Simon from the internet for some reason over the last couple of years. Its sad , I wish some one would've been able to archive all these sorts of things.
lol if only there were a hard copy of the internet...
I wonder how much physical matter it would take to store all of the information that there is on earth, on everyone's computer?
