woodster77 - you misunderstand me
Some mp3 players and cheap 2.1 system has a very low gain structure... This calls for loud mastering
Might be relevant to some point, but generally not.

 Id heard it from my lecureres last year too and since then I use it often in each mix lots of time.Great technique to check a lot imo.

anyway i hope this thread is as usefull to the noobs as i hope it is and hopefully answer questions before they are asked
