Hi ppl. I got a new PC with several USB ports.

I installed all drivers for USB(also for all the things on pc).

Now the problem(maybe that´s how it works, but...): I have an USB soundcard(Audiophile). So I route the sc to one of the USB ports. I installed all drivers, and the sc is running ok!

But if I change the USB port, the Windows asks me to install the sound card drivers again!!! Is it normal???

As far as I know, every time you change the USB port a device is plugged into, Windows will need to install the drivers again until you've done it for all the USB ports. Irritating, isn't it.

Thanks for the answer! My answer for my problem is to install the sc for 2 USB(one in front of the panel, other on the back).

Indeed very irritant!!!!
