Sup guys,
got quick question
is USB keyboard is enough if i have a strong cput or should i get USB2 keyboard (if they exsist) do usb keyboard work prop. on varius vsts? does the knobs usualy set on cutoff and rez ?

is it better to use midi cables instead of the usb ....

USB keyboards are fine, in my opinion much better than MIDI cable, atleast for amatuers.

i got an Evolution MK 449C and it's PERrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrfect

USB is much more usable with computer because
- the keyboard can draw power from the usb cable so no external power needed (batteries etc)
- usb device is created as its own midi device on your computer so that you don't waste midi ports. otherwise you would need midi cables and perhaps midi combiner if you have other midi gear too (synths)
- most of the usb devices have midi output too, so you actually get best of the both worlds.

ps. there are no usb2 keyboards. its no use having usb2 as usb1.1 is fast enough (the speed at which data travels is the same, only amount of data is greater with usb2 as far as i know)

i have MK 461C and i just love it!

Well usb1.1 does not have power output so i have to connect the keyb to power line
and usb2 have power and connect ur keyb so u need only 1 cable, thats why i think it'll help me
i think of buying the Edirol PCR-M30 anyone use it ? is it any good ?

How about Oxygen8 from M-AUDIO?
I´ve seen many artists using it at their live performance.

Wrong. All USB version provide power from the board.           Everyone in the world is doing something without me

check the emu keyb controllers (or alesis)... oxygen and edirol is purelly outdated stuff           roll a joint or STFU :)
