I wouldnt recommend Behringer , well this is just my personal feeling . But "all" Behringer i had in the past hasnt been very good , eventhoug the prices were low , the product wansnt worth it . But for this one i didnt try it . Just my experience .

Been using it for quite some time now.. it's pretty good if u ask me- for beginners i would say it's a pretty cool machine for what it's worth!

Yeah most Behringer gear isn't particualy good at all , but I do own a BCD2000 and i really quite like it! I would not use it at gigs (i still much prefer proper turntables & CDJs to software) but i think its a great little toy and good for house parties and such!

The sound quality is actually pretty good (suprisingly) and it can be used as an analoge mixer as well with phonoline inputs.

I have a few bits of Behringer gear (bass amp, Eurorack studo mixers etc) and i think the BCD2000 is definatly the most fun ...

I can guarantee almost all that you're going to get here is crap about how behringer is terrible and evil, etc.

I say if you're starting out and its cheap and effective, go for it. If you have problems with the thing later on complain to behringer..it's just that I find that before something has a chance to break at all it's been replaced by something new or isn't necessary anymore.

I hate to admit it, but if it wasnt for good old Behringer, at least one third of my studio would be missing lol!

Nothing wrong with Behringer at all, as they make accessable gear for the common man. And some of their products do the job fine.

So there is a place for them...whether its beginner gear, mixers, or general sound system duties, we should be thankful they exist hehe

Having said that, I don't use Behringer products for interface recording, effects or DJ'ing purposes (too low quality), but i DO use them for general mixer-amp-P.A duties, and DI boxes etc...

You dont meet that many live engineers who havent had more than a few Behringer units in their racks!

And yeah BTW i'd recommend the BCD2000 to anyone cause its quite fun, and very nifty! ....and the program that comes with it aint too shabby at all....its best feature is the awsome filters, they really nailed them!

Peace...
