after years i finnaly have some money to invest on my studio. one of them is a soundcard. the problem is that i don't have a laptop and when i play live i have to ask someone to lend it to me and most of the times these laptops don't have a firewire interface.
so i'm looking for an USB Audio Interface. i'm thinking in getting M-Audio FastTrack PRO and would like to have some opinions on that. recomendations for other in the same price range are welcome too.

thanks in advance, stay cool           Pyrex :: Traveling without moving

dont buy m audio , i have the fast track pro and it will many times just hang if the doorbell rings , or if i turn on / off any other electrical appliance .. weird and irritating .. i thought it was a problem in the house wiring until i came across : http://forum.isratrance.com/viewtopic.php/topic/104186/forum/2

Go for the Tascam US-122L. I am using the previous model US-122 for the last 4 years and it is perfect. Set up in no time, very stable(was never lost from my system not even once), low latency, very good recording quality.           A friend told me once that the biggest mistake we make is that we believe we live, when in reality we are sleeping in the waiting room of life.
