you say that the eq produce an amazingly high results and it's not correct
you make the results sound's good the eq is only a tool to work with .

I agree that evry eq have different sound
and to work with quality tool's is good if you have the mony to spend on it
but I disagree about
"Your results will only be as good as the quality of the tools you use will allow you to get"
eq is only a tool to work with
your results will only be good as your knowlege

I challenge you to draw an accurate copy of the grain in a piece of wood with a blunt pencil; likewise I challenge you to use only the channel EQs in Cubase VST24 (or even Cubase SX) and come up with something that matches current production standards.
Agreed, you need knowledge to get the best out of any tool, but the better the tool, the better the final result.
Perhaps there is a major artist who only uses the Cubase channel EQs in their tracks, in which case I'll look a fool (not for the first time) - but I seriously doubt it.

Guys the difference is that you can either squeeze the best results from the worst instrument or you can squeeze the best results from the best instrument,that is more or less the difference .
