Interview - URIYA

Who are you? Single person or project? Where did you come from? Where is your base yet? Year of birth? Tell us a bit about your background, your regular profession and your way up to here?

I'm Uriya Tenenbaum Born in 1986,From Bee'r Sheva – Israel.
I started listening Psychedelic Trance Since I was 13 years old and started to produce while I was 15 y.o.
my regular profession is a Websites Builder (and Designer)..
now i'm serving at the Israeli defense force and will finish at November 2007.

Tell us about your new stuff and why people shouldn't miss it? Did you think it is something different, or would you think it should be named in a row with others? How would you define your style of music?

Well,I think my new album will be a little different from the usual psychedelic line. Every track has is own story,
Affected from old goa melodies mixed with new sounds and a lot of
Beat breaks, Sometimes even remind a progressive house.
It’s a defiantly other thing to listen and I think and hope that people will love it.

Did you think copy kills music - or copy makes the artist famous? What did you experience with p2p and track-swapping?

When I see various tracks on a p2p networks I'm happy because I see that people love this style and advertising it . the artists becoming more famous and people around the world can listen your music. but this is not the way to appreciate the artist. If you loved the cd,buy it!

Where do you see yourself in 5/10/20 years? Where do you see our scene in the future?

I don’t like to talk about the future.. Cause no one know what will happen tomorrow. I hope that the psychedelic scene will be bigger and better and I'll be in it.

Your definition of luck & satisfaction? Maybe anything to tell about "sex, drugs and rock'n'roll"?

The best drug you can have is your imagination! no drug or drink in a trance party can satisfy more than your regular,natural,special imagination.
Try to understand what the artists want to say trough his tracks.
I know I'm doing it!

Your favorite musicians? Some beside trance?

Metal rock starts like:
"Nightwish"
"Evanescence"
"System Of A Down"
And a lot of Israeli artists such as:
"Idan Raichel Project"
"mush ben ari"

Where could our readers see/hear you in the next time? Any special events worth to mention here?

Well because I'm serving at the army now I do not available for gigs..
