Hi guys, thanks for reading and I appreciate if anyone can help me with this strange problem.
Ive been using Live 8 for Djing without any problems since the last few months and everything has been going very smoothly until just yesterday while I was practicing my set, in the middle of mixing 2 tracks together the audio started to skip really really fast. I could see the bar on the audio clip moving really quickly like someone had pressed the fast fwd button.
I stopped the audio and played it again and the same thing was happening that too with all the songs in my set ie they were all skipping continously.
I closed ableton and started it again and everything was fine. I noticed the CPU load meter and it was only 7%
I am also running no other programs whilst running ableton.
This was yesterday. Today I started up my set again and everything was fine until it happened again. Its so frustrating! Cant figure out why.
Im using a macbook pro Intel i5. 4 GB RAM runnning Snow Leopard.
I have 2 gigs this weekend and cant afford to let this happen in a live scenario. PLS HELP!

Nope I havent but I think it was because my it was receiving some strange midi message from one of my controllers. I turned it off and and it hasnt happened since then. I hope it was that.
