URGENT!! cubase help sl3 mi4 (m-audio)

hey all,
i checked out the forums already and googled but it cant answer my questions ok so problem is i set up the cubase system four on my friends pc we had some problems getiing his nord lead to work in cubase but somehow got it to thats why i need help i dont know how i got it to work.
midi out from nord to midi in on card
card is usb
nord mono line is in the instrument input on front of interface
system is setup for the sound card fine cause it works on system sounds and reason
i made a bus in cubase stereo in
i tried going to the channel and turning on the monitor on the audio track and get nothing also no sound in cubase at all please help i wanna use this in a live set on friday
everything set for the proper soundcard in cubase ann inputs and everything are active latency is low i get midi input on the channels but still no sound coming out on even audio tracks with samples imported
I am kinda bad with setting these things up so if someone knows explicit steps would be nice but any help is appreciated.

oh ya the card reads levels on the input led but nothing comes out in cubase or the headphones on the card |

Did u check the main outputs??? Sometimes Cubase default is "phone".... So change it to the main analog outs of your soundcard...

actually its for a live show on friday im trying to have him use a mic enclosed on a foam box to do live vocals or percussion and i would like to run it through cubase to put effects on it while playng the mixed together track any more ideas
@SMS got your idea but not sure where to check for the main output. |
