until 2005 sub6's live-set was 25-30 minutes and they added 30-40 minutes of dj-set to fill the time.

yes cose that how it works if u have a big name
and people want u ,most to as the like
in normal today u have microsoft and u have buy programs,or else u cant do anything same for lots of other examples, its same in full on ,dark psy,techno, or buzukia, if u have a name u ask,
if u dont u just bother and talk about the 1s that have made it to the top its simple way of life.
amd i dont get guys on forums any more krazete and u bother what others people do ,dont u have personal lives or something , ure not artists u dont live out of trance , and u know how trance works cose u been to parties,go or dont go ,and so bothering with it ,people
see who is who what they have done and were they reached, and when they did it so ,stop acting like he is the bad guy and all are siants,each time u do this u lose more in every day life ,than parties, if u like make a name play like 10 minutes and get 30000 euros if u can do it then speak, and detox and all do parties 10 years and more for 10 years same, bla bla
but he has done it allready 10 years of events when u reach there then talk about it.imarton diladi pleon
some have label and are djs and in stread of making them self know and make money they bother them much with others..and if u start again i pay money dont go ure not kids..

u think i to pay tickets,hosting,food,souvlaki and saganaki,drinks,walks and all that for 30 minutes playback is ok?
I think that your vision you have for this music is very far away from what it's supposed to be
if u take a fee to do a gig,that makes u a professional
where's the professionalism at a 30minutes q-base space space space and then 40 minutes of the same tracks played on the cd?
that kind of behaviour degrades the scene
can't u get it?

Guys get serious Sub6 is one example out of a thousand artists i dont even know why you stuck with them.
Normal live perfomance is between 60-90 minutes like i already said and thats what the artists get payed for.

Moonsun,I don't make parties but I have invited a part of the HSS family in Athens
I went him to an excellent studio
he blew up an 8-piece rack at the studio,he left 2 excellent tracks to the label
he did his show for 75 minutes exclusive for the local freaks and he left
thats something to be respected and it shows that this guy really appreciated what we did for him and he gave us back the good vibes 3 times more
now can u compare this attitude with the one of Sub6?
if u book artists only by name and they play 30 minutes and u pay them full fee then what to say, u know better
but dont expect at the end of the day to hear good words

1st of all mike books from big labels and big artists acualy mike sorry for interfiering on this 1 but it weird and funny to see poeple stil dont get were the artists u bring are in and which labels and there history,
why are u telling what u did i crx with 8 - piece racks. i drunk coffie 2 minutes ago and ate pizza crx does that mean something people will see what u do in future and what u did in past ,so no piont
they have eyes ,coplaing is not doing anyting and naging
a lot.and all other countreis do things and show who they are how much money they make and have repect
and if u like ti help people do this help them to jion to those people that did something with there lives and have old conections and friends that will help them, or else bla bla them to death hehehe with how cubase works or how good ure studio is or what good parties u made

CRX every single day i got 3-4 people who find me on MSN and present themselves and ask me to book them,many of them havent released a single track in their life and most of them havent got an album out yet.Ofcourse many other artists with a notable release catalog contact me also on a daily basis but i dont work with them for various reasons.
To answer your questions and end this pointless and funny discussion (sorry thats the way i see it and i dont know why it even started).
A)I wouldnt book someone who couldnt perform a live more than an hour long not only because this would be somekind of joke but also because i am not willing to pay someone a lot of money just for 30-40 minutes work because when an artist performs on stage he is actually working like you probably know.Also i would never book an artist whose live is a total joke (like Skazi for example with those guitars and devil like signs he does with his hands) and who would act on and off stage like a super star or something.I work only with people who i consider serious and with whom i can communicate easily with no problems.
B)I dont know about other people's standards for booking artists but my standards include the following.
1) Price/Value Relationship meaning that i am willing to book and pay an artist as long as i believe that he worths the money he asks and he can at least bring this money back to me as a promoter.For example i accept to pay more money to Astrix for example than for Orion not because Astrix is neceserilly a better artist than Orion but because Astrix gathers on his own more people in a party than Orion.
2) People Preferences And Personal Taste.Like i have stated in the past the artists that i invite are people who i also like as artists but also people that the crowd likes (for example Tristan),there is always a connection between these two parameters although sometimes i invite artists just because i love them and i dont care what the people think (Prometheus for example) and some other times i invite artists that i dont so much like but the people ask them all the time (like Parasense for example especially in their early days).Most of the times though i try to satisfy both the party people and myself.
3) Good Communication And Professionalism Level.One major aspect in booking some artists is the personal relationship i have created with them and the level of communication between us and their level of being high rated professionals.For example i have excellent relationship/communication with some people from the scene with whom i like to work all the time like Atmos,S Range and Electric Universe for example who are all great professionals by the way but i dont work with some other artists because either i cant communicate with them (cant find them,they ask ridiculus money,they ask super luxury accomodation and business class flights) or because they got a bad name in the scene both as characters and professionals (missing flights all the time for example).
These are the three major parameters for me before booking an artist.I dont care if an artist is the best and most commercial in the world,if i cant communicate with him and make sure we will be both happy in the end of our cooperation then i prefer to work with someone else who might bring less people to the party but will not give me a headache in the morning.
Hope i was clear enough.
P.S Artists who send their music on cds in my office address and not through the internet gain extra credits on my agenda because i know that they spend some time on burning that cd and go to the post office and send it to me so i feel obliged towards them to listen that cd and provide them with a feedback good or bad.I might sound little bit too old fashioned but thats the way i like it and if the old and well established artists can do it then the young ones can do it also so please stop spamming me with countless links of tracks on my email and msn
