ghreg on earth was great at Boom, and psykovsky i agree with...

but highko? no, not fluffy.. just super fast, and really horrible on the ears.. psy-goth stuff.. and along with all other dark psy, i hope it either splits into its own scene or dies out. its not psychedelic, its painful.           difficile est non saturam scribere

i think thats the joke.....

i would diss raja more than i would timecode..hehe

he is actually such a fake...cos every project he has done , he has always bounced off someone really talented...

like Sphongle.... Rate all he does is sit there stoned off his face then plays a flute every now and again...simon does the rest

same with mic1200, i rate thats all GMS/

then he rocks up in his jocks and pretends to pull the sound from speaker to speaker with his hands , like its magic

who am i to jdge tho.... he is a so-called psy legend...the godfather (haha)

i agree, highko and especially cosmo are a little dodge. some of the the stuff is cool tho, like nasty pasty, travel in reverse and fight or die. the rest is just nasty.

ghreg on earth. that guy makes the most psychedelic music i've ever heard. no one is better when it comes to manipulating one's mind

l337 - yeah i was agreeing with you.. he's a poor dj, and 1200 mics was terrible.. GMS, although I'm not a fan, are solid producers and are tight and powerful live, but with raja ram, and chicago banging around on drums, and singing sooo horribly out of key it makes your testicles crawl up inside your body.. it just makes for a poor 'show'. i want to dance to psychedelic music, not watch some fat ageing men scream about how they love drugs into a mic.

code a: thing about dark psy is artists like kindzadza and winter demon are hard and drilling, but still have a consistent sound.. whereas the others just want to scare dogs away. you should see amanda from 'mistress of evil' (USA)... this little fiery red head actually caused a guy in front of me at Boom to flip out, pick up a bin and smash it on the ground, screaming, with his pants around his ankles. he then sat on the bin with his cock hanging out looking all confused.. needless to say he was taken away by the 'grounding team' to the grounding geodome.. and tied to a stretcher and cuffed.. while screaming and writhing around. now THAT is hard music.

i saw ghreg on earth running around full moon and sonica with a video cam, and thought he was just filming.. until he played at Boom.. and he really ripped it.. playing right after some of the nasty stuff.. the perfect changeover from night to day.. i would like to get my hands on more of this dude's stuff.           difficile est non saturam scribere

yeah, i'm familiar with mistress of evil. mindshare is a mad release. i can only imagine what parties with those lineups can be like (unfortunately)..
the lineup for the zolod memorial party made my knees go like butter. it actually hurts me to see what goes on overseas compared to here.

but at the end of the year it's off to germany for me. that's where i'm gna suck up as much evil psy as i possibly can and then come back here with even lower expectations. the cape town scene is just so small that it simply adapts to what the majority favours, in this case hard trance/house.

mail dennis for the link of that video. it's soo hectic. crazy people fucked on cid eating lit candles kinda vibe.....

love it

thats the very reason i'll never go back to party in germany.. way too intense..

after trancing in 8 countries i can confidently say South Africa is still my favourite. the festivals in europe are amazing, and its a treat to party for 7 days.. but they lack something on the dancefloor..           difficile est non saturam scribere

er....? code a u do know that highcosmos is highko and cosmos, right? i reckon both their single artist albums are better then the highcosmos. as for darkpsy, doesnt do it for me, too much irriatating sounds. dont rate ghreg on earth too much either.

hehe was joking dude.. at ROP he played twice and one set was incredible, and the other pretty commercial.. all the 'hits' ('round and round' and the like).           difficile est non saturam scribere
