The point is not on what he asks,but How he asks it.
Even if i ve got Kickin ass patches for my virus i still got the need for sharing.
Everything else is just crap.
And who the hell are u who dont share patches for warezed software?Huhh?
Do u really own your product?
U dont own your patches if its like that.
I recently uploaded a pack of 256 patches for virus and i explained that i only need is feedback.
U know smth?
NOONE GAVE ME Because we all are leechers,
We only care to get and not to give.

mate,
I think anyone is entitled to decide wether he wants or doesn't want to share his or not his patches, from whatever reasons they might be.
No need to ask them - who are they or if they own anything...

It may not be 'your' synth... but it's your own created sound. You don't own your patches, but you've shaped them yourself so it's up to you whether you want to give them to others...
If people want to share them, fine  ... Then you are a nice charitable person.
But personally I like to encourage people to make their own sounds because it breeds creativity... IMO Learning how to create a sound you hear is better than getting it straight 'outta the box'..
I don't think that anyone can say that creativity is not important.

simply because my patches are a lot different sound of what you're used to listen and keeping my sound unique is one of my rules. |

I am not some kind of pro hmmm I am not pro at all but when someone starting to make music he thinks " O I need one kick, 3 hats.. etc." but there is a lot of work.
As NikC wrote where is creativity there?
Let's all upload our patches and make songs in one hour and relese them or bether let one of us download all patches and make song for all of us.... don't wann start some flame but do you wonna hear some sound ,that took about 50 hours to make, from your song's in 100 others?!
Never let computers to win a game! :)

ok,i ve got cubase,i ve read the bassline tutorial,great..
Then u have some questions.
What is the best plug for doing that?
How do i make this sound?
What are these Lfo knobs i see there?
After u post some examples or questions in Isratrance forum and hope to get some answers.Some helps
U see its not so easy to have the sound and u download every patch u find on net.
Loading them u say...
xmmm i could do it better ,so u try to fix an already downloaded patch to fit to the one u vr got in mind.
Nothing again.
Then u sign in again is the forum and see that a really nice person gives some farts for the disco dsp.
U download,load,play with it till u get bored
and then u try to have some more from that.
U have already have learned from this.
Now u can come to the same results from a single sine wave
Thats creativity.
Learning from others and trying to do it your self.
At first was the natural sounds and then the human recreations of it.
Besides how would u create something if u dont even think-hear about it?
Usually we like doing something and after coming close to it we reallize that somebody did it before. |

I don't have a problem with sharing patches. But my >best< patches are used in my tracks, and i don't want to share them. It is easy, i just want the sounds of my tracks not be copied.
It is the way of asking. It is a almost unfriendly way.
Maybe if he had shared his best/good patches i would have posted some nice ones with pleasure.
But i am not a cow from which u can squeeze milk anytime u want to.

sharing patches is one thing, and sharing knowledge is other.
me personally, i'd never give up on my patches, cuz they're my hard work and time, plus they give my music it's own stand in terms of being original. just like i wouldn't give my money to every person that comes across, it's not healthy.
but i will share the knowledge on how to make that money or patch.
anyway,
i am really running short on weed supply.

but i dont think its lack of creative thinkin or something.. those are ass crackin presets (specialy 2.. my love) and u better all d/l it!
i can exchange presets for NL2 if some one into it and got some good stuff.
