The artists have to do the mastering for their tracks before uploading to cytopia as we are not able to do it for the moment, but it is in our future plans to do so as well.

As there are only three weeks since the site was online the top downloads list is currently artificial. There must be more uploaded tracks in order for proper promotion and advertising to take place. When this is achieved there will be enough sells and the top downloads list will represent the mostly sold tracks.

I like the idea, very nice site.
But why it's so easy to save the files when you use " high quality preview " ?
If my track was there, I would expect to see it really streamed like in an internet radio.

The tracks are actually streamed. People could of course record them while streaming..but that would only be at 80 Kbps ... and since the site promotes new artists we think it is neccessary for people to be able to listen to the complete tracks...

Thanks for your suggestion...the problem with this is that if everything goes according to plan the web site will have 1000 to 3000 different visitors every day...then the artists would be bombarded with messages which wouldn't be very nice...so instead of that we are currently setting up a forum were artists and site visitors could contact each other...
