hey mate ArSoX why are u saying allready Shame on U ???? why are u allready blaaming them ?? do u know why the festival was canceled ??? so if u dont know , don't start talkinng like this , thats why this country never go anywere ... only stay in shit ..
things will be cleared soon , until there remain in calm ...

well but i heard that the festival is still workin..well but no charges are at entry..aliatory djīs are still spining, shops still running...a mega free festival now?that is what i have heard..can anyone confirm?

for what i know they were obliged to take all stuff from the place of the festival , but i think one of the principal ppl to blaame its the (freguesia and camara) beccause they only talked about the terrain license , and the vegetation of this terrain were not belong to the (freguesia of the terrain area) so they shut the party because it was missing a license because of the vegetation of AGUEDA ... this is the shity country were we live , but this will be confirmed bye the org ,

What do you mean? That Portugal is a shity country because it takes care of its environment? That's an interesting thought, coming from someone that is deeply envolved in a culture that teaches you too love nature above all, but anyways, nothing really surprises me nowadays.
So in your opinion the fact that the licences for the spot (with is probably the FIRST thing to take care)were resolves days and hours before, is not the fault of the organizers?
So you think that is the mayor, who is too blame.
Not some guys who want to do a party for ELEVEN DAYS called and i quote; THE BIGGEST PARTY IN THE WORLD, and did not took care of the licences ,...... for the spot, .... of the party .... and so it was canceled right?????...because of the vegetation of AGUEDA .
you know what ?? lets go out there and burn it all...

no u missunderstand my point of view , im saying its stupid why terrain is from a location and vegetation from another , or why when u ask the licence for the terrain vegetation is not included ??? what is this anyway ??? back on prehistory ?
nonono u really read very bad my post mate , chek it 10 times then rechange maybe youur post,
and more one thing , i suport i lot what they tried to do , and licence were taked not 2 days or hours before like u said , they have the SPOT TERRAIN LICENCE for sometime allready , but the "freguesia in the reunion they make with the layers etc, they didn't announce that they were need 2 licence , this is crazzyness man , its like we where trying something like this , i would try to get a room to rent , and in that house if i whanted to use the bathroom i would need to rent it as well ???
this is real stupid mate , but this is my opinion , so u must respect it , even if u are agains't .
try to understand this , the party was on pinhal de frades (spot terrain) and the vegetation on this terrain was from agueda , and nobody informed updown responsables ... so its not they'r fault.... and yes i think the freguesia or the mayor are the responsables for the festival been shut down.

U tell me to shut up my mouth(in isratrance Festival area)... but u are the one who needs to shut up, because i know what i talk about..
U are defending ppl that made a fake festival, made ppl spend money in traveling, GIVIN THEIR MONEY buying tickets, booked vacations to this week and see them reduced to nothing!!They are the responsables!
I know that ppl phoned to the responsable guy, and he just told "We dont have money... i cant do anything about the tickets.." and disconnected the phone! ... And thats the true!
And i know that some ppl left the festival without being refunded!!... they will send the money by mail, no?
Another thing: If it really is a licence problem, wheres the money that ppl paid for the tickets yesterday and it's not being paid back?
Phantasm and Alternative Vision had said in isratrance festival area that UpDown was not being correct with them!.. So, it's just not a licence problem, and it's not a today problem!... They had known the problens, but they waited to ppl to come to give their more money!!
So.. if i talk, its about what i know.. and what u know?.. if u are defending them with hope to be booked in the future.. i dont know if after all this desorganization they will do another party.. specially because they dont pay back!
... And no more to say about all this crap.

If they needed 2 licences, that's something that the organizers should know in advance.
Those kind of things have to be delt really carefully in advance, what would you expect, when things are done on top of your lap, and that is the image it reflects... that's the truth.
Maybe they had the licence for the dancefloor, but forgot the camping area or something like that, even so, if they had an agreement with the mayor, somehow they must have dearanged it, or else, this wouldn't had happened.
I think you are simplifying some things that are not so simple in fact.

Look, these guys whom i do not know, may even be (and they must be) the nicest guys, but you have to admit that they are not the smartest.
Everybody agreed that this was megalomaniac event that had lots of traps and dificulties, specially on a young organization with few parties.
I must say that i thought that the festival would go at least for 6 or 7 days, but it did not resist the second.
Who is to blame?
Of course the organizers, if you put your feet in the ground, you will realize this...
Of course you can always blame the other guy, but if they are grown up boys they take the responsabilities for their actions, and this IS their responsabilitie.. imo of course |

concerning the other area (festivals), i dunno know, but in iberia section if u both shut up, than u wonīt b able 2 talk 2 each other 
2 the facts:
festival was cancelled cause there was some licences missing..1st or was the city hall that didnīt want that fest there and made it so they could ruin their fest..or the org didnīt concern enough on getting ALL the licenses..one thingīs for sure, people donīt have fault, so the org should give an oficial explanation 2 what happened, and refund peoples money without delays.which is pretty weird since no one from org is there..?
second by seing some artists giving their version of facts, some bad organization between themselves was happening, thatīs true.
how much people really attended 2 that festival?
in my point of view a festival during 11 days is a lot, and i think u have 2 get much experience before makin such an event..it is not easy..and u can see by the results.
2 darkpsy: 4 much good people they can be, and good will, that isnīt enough, and they should have concern in case things gone wrong, like they did..

this is very sad for updown crew, i understand people anger on this issue, but i guess even though all the mistakes in this mega festival organization, we must have a word of encorgement for the organizers, the ones for sure that are feeling very bad and disapointed right now.
but just one question if this was a licence problem how come this party is still going even though it is a free party? |
