Review:

The first track titled "Why" has an interesting introduction. It goes right into a groovy kick and bass combination, with some nice percussions, then we have a nicely reversed effect where it sounds like the record is playing in reverse, back to the groove. Soon after another glitched out break with slight variations of bass and nice synth work and vocal samples. Gives you a old school goaish vibe. Another break and back to some more deep hypnotic atmospheres as the song progresses deeper. The synths are reminiscent of the sounds used in the old days. Nice floaty melodies without getting too cheesy. Then we have the main break, keeps you anticipating whats coming next. Waiting.....here we go, its coming...wait for it and you keep waiting and then he finally gives it to you. Comes back pretty strong. The track ends perfectly with enough atmosphere.

OK, so next up we got Escape which has a similar kick and bass, but different elements on top. nice creative breaks with bass changes. Makes you want to start grooving and dancing with the percussive progressions. The breaks in the beginning are very trendy, makes you feel like the music is slowing down/stuttering. This one too has a goaish squelchy lead driving you more into a trance, amongst the stutters. There is no escaping this one, hence the title.

Let's jump into the title track "Panick Button", starts with a vocal sample. The kick and bass is getting more chunky. Some more stutter breaks ala Upavas style. Some nice glitchy synth work with subtle melodic elements as we keep driving and grooving to the chunkiness of the kick and bass. This track in particular keeps progressing into more unexpectedness. Its minimal elements more focus on frequencies than melodies.

Pressure Amount, "must be funny, cant think of anything serious" at least thats what I got from the vocal sample introduction. The BPM has gotten a little faster and the tempo has picked up. Some nice groovy glitchy psy, sounds almost like your playing a set in your computer and your computer is overload and the buffer is too less. This track has some very interesting sounds, good sound design. The glitchy breaks keep things interesting and fresh.

Hangover starts of with an interesting kick and bass combination. The way it changes is refreshing after listening to the previous song. The song slowly flows into a slightly more melodic direction and moves away from more frequency based sounds. The main break keeps you waiting for the drop. Once the bass comes back it starts getting groovier and more funky. I'm liking the way this track is progressing. It has a main melody towards the end that kind of sticks in the head.

Bastard, starts of and we are back to the more chunky bass and sounds, the bass is more monotone and not so up & down. This track is more in the style of Pressure Amount. Fast, groovy, chunky psy. Some may call it dark, but it grooves and is perfectly danceable.

Favs: (1), (3), & (5).
