Matts profile:
I heard L.a Style - James Brown is dead in 1990 and then I was sold on techno. Started dancing to german trance
(Harthouse, Eye q, MFS, and so on) on my first rave 1993 outside Lund.
Ever since then electronic music has been my life and techno-parties my home.
In 1995 everything suddenly changed, when I laid my hands on the first Return To The Sorce-collection.
Goatrance was here and I was mindblown with this new sound of trance. I laughed and danced together with
Man With No Name, Astral Projection and Hallucinogen to name just a few.
This was also the year I started to experiment with music myself.
In 1996 I attended my first really big party on Pakhus 11 in Copenhagen where I saw Acid Junkies live. That party was
followed by numerous unforgettable ones, going mad on the dancefloor to acts like Transwave and Cosmosis among many others.
1997 came my all-time high when I played live as warmup for Oforia with only a tracker-program and a Roland 101.
1998 i moved into Malmö and started my DJ-ing and also started working with music in a real studio.
And now... 2005 and not much has changed. I still try to live my dream more than ever as a DJ, musician and party-organizer
as part of the collective Sunshine Tribe (together with Nexus and Toady). I still do it all for fun, and because it´s everything
I know. My life without electronic music is not life.
As a DJ I try to give the people on the dancefloor an unforgettable journey. All I want to do is see people dance and laugh and
spread as much love as possible. I want every set I make to be different from the other, and my goal is always to make the best
of the tracks I play. I always try to play as varied as possible, from hard dark tunes, to melodic full on / goatrance. Every
track must in one way or another blend in each other - in rhytm or in tune. Every track must serve it´s purpose.
Oh, and I only play good music |
