dude burn your best tracks on a cd in .wav and send them to a label, you will have a better chance of being signed. |

u right purple passion, its hard to find time to d/l everybodys tracks!
and without a broadband connection(label money's better spent elsewhere), it takes even longer.

"Infected" ... is my first crack at Infected Trance (Inspired by the mushi mushi bro's)
Porno for Psycho's ... well ... I can't really label it ... something along the lines of prog. house/trance ..... Also influenced by Infected ... and Deep dive corp .... and much more .. (Get the "Canon" track if u r not interested in PErry Farell's spoken word)
BEst Man ... is an experimental elect. track ... got very nice reviews on it ... I'm uploading it's twin track - called " Organic" now ...
Bring The Noise - is a remix of the Public Enemy classic - kindof a a funky running beat.
Benzo is a nice piece ... somewhere between trance an latin (Sphongle w/o the psychadelics ... I need to upload the updated version ... which is 3 times the length with new funky beats ...)
The rest of the tracks are a bit weaker I think ... oh oh oh ...
"Hard" is my interpetation of "Darkeinoo" by Yizhar ashdot (If u r from Israel) ... I think it didn't get the attention it deserves (I got 2 more mixes for this track ....)
BLa bla bla bla bla ...
(I"m now experimenting with some DnB and Hip-Hop ... )
Thanx,
Yogi

As you can see ... I'm all over the place (I started as a drummer playing megadeth and MEtallica ...) ... I just enjoy experimenting with different kinds of moods and .... well .... attitudes ...
(I can't stay on 4 on the floor for too long ... Gotta have that off-beat ... )

I liked the ambient & experimental material more than the regular trance tracks. You have a future man
Reece & Andres, don't miss this guy

Thanx Mike,
Actually - my main field is not trance .... and I do dig Downbeats, chill and funk better .... but sometimes you need to get that adrenaline pumping .... and I see Melodic/Prog. Trance/House as the New Cyber-Punk.
Bom!

A lot of talent, but no clear direction. You got a good ear for sound and some very nice ideas, as well as some chord theory. I wouldn't exactly call your stuff progressive though.
... this is a wild guess, but do you have a background in Impulse (or any other) Tracker?

You got some nice stuff done!!!!
I prefer the more experimental electro tracks keep on the good work friend more of this is what we need.
The Public enemy rmx or rebuilt is a nice idea is it bigger than whats in the page or it's all??? if it is all maybe with the same vocals you could do a bigger track with more constructions from you for example instead of puting the all lirics together as it is you can split it and only put it on some parts this would be great for this track i think.
Anyway your work is nice don't stop. |

Hex Yogi,
I know those beaches on your MP3 site ;-)
Where are the pictures from? Ko Pha-Ngan?
are you infected by the island?
I can't listen to your stuff, because MP3.com wants to share my adresses with others..
I will not sign there! For shure.
In the future it will be better to upload the sound to another place than MP3.com
And: No Label will release stuff that is already in the net! So all your work that results in MP3.com is for nothing. Think about that.
Cheers |

Hi,
Kaz: I guess you r right on both accounts ... But I never used a tracker ... (I started with a Casio TapeRecorder ... and moved to Fruity ... now Cubase).
Examino: They Really Remind me of a beach in Koh Tao ... Next to King Java. the 5th's fingerprint or something - Sairee Beach ... I guess I'm infected to both those ISlands ... (Did a divemaster Crs. in KOh Tao for 1.5 month .... *Paradise*!
Foka: Thanx alot m8.. I really gotta finish the P Enemy one ... I'm looking for the rest of the pella ... (I already got the "Amen loop" all fingered up from an AKAI DnB CD ... (Also available as a sample on net if someone wants ...)) ....
But first .... I gotta stop flopping these damn tests ... Grrr!
Yogi
P.S. I;m uploading the *AMAZING* new shiny version of "LowSO" .... Mostly E. Guitars and my Vox .... it should be up in a couple o' days.
